Princess Cherry has the ability to connect with any dragon (mostly) because she holds the power of the king of the dragons but the dragon she spends most of her time with is her personal dragon ambreon the fierce

But when she wants to make a "statement" she rides midknight the black dread
Who is currently not bonded to anyone
And one of the biggest male dragons in the kingdom

He got his name because his scales are as black as the pure night sky but they can also glitter like stars causing him to blind in in the night sky

He and ambreon are children of ragna the destroyer the first dragon to do a lot of things,most notably shape shift and create the stormborn royal line with Queen Aldra

But these two are his first true born children full dragon through and through. 2/4 but of two separate mothers.

They swore and oath to there father many years ago to keep watch of there dynasty and they did that at least midknight did after ambreon noticed that her fathers ideals weren't being kept up she left and was never heard of till  she came back the same day princess mizuko was crowned princess queen

They are of the purest royal blood and can challenge the king for the thrown  if they so pleased but they aren't interested in things like that
