Introduction : Elena is a part of a saviour guild known as "Righteous Knights". She is a girl who possesses the mask of a strong and heartless warrior but is actually a fragile and emotional mess. Chuck is Elena"s younger brother who is a mischievous prankster. But, he is still a very strong fighter. Lucas is a new member of the guild as well as the protagonist of the story. Lucifer is an antagonist who is a part of the infamous Seven Deadly Sins working under the Demon Lord, the main Antagonist. Lucifer is the Sin Of Pride who attacks the Hometown of the "Righteous Knights". Elena and other guild members engage Lucifer in a fight while the civilians evacuate. Lucas and Chuck aren't a part of it as Lucas is out of town and Chuck is ordered to 'not get involved' by his sister. Lucifer slowly but easily overpowers the guild and when all hope was lost, Chuck steps in ignoring Elena's orders. Lucas reaches the town at the horrific sight of of death and despair caused by the Sin Of Pride. He tries the join the fight but Elena obstructs his path mentioning that Lucifer is out of his League. All the guild members watch the battle hoping for Chuck's victory but everything goes to hell when Lucifer Pierces through Chuck's body with his dark spear.

Elena, Lucas and the others saw the terrifying scene as Chuck went down in front of them. A look of horror and grief crossed through Elena's face but it only lasted for a split-second. her face soon turned into her fake heartless person she acted like. The only person to notice it was Lucas. Elena shouted,"We don't have to mourn someone's death. Get out of this place this instant, all of you. I will keep him busy till you are safe!" "but-" Mira's words were cut off by Elena's furious words,"This is an order!"

Everyone knew there was no way of changing her mind now. They started running aiming for a nearby guild to ask for help. Elena stood right there, waiting for Lucifer to notice her so she could avenge her brother. She would do it even if it costs her life. Suddenly she was wrapped into a tight embrace and before she knew it, she was in Lucas's arms. Elena screamed,"What the hell do you think you are doing? We don't have time such idiotic stuff. leave at once." "I won't" said Lucas certainty. "Then just let go of me, I have to fight Lucifer!"Elena was getting mad at Lucas but that didn't change anything. He calmly said,"I won't do that either."

Elena tried to protest but this time Lucas was the one who shouted,"Stop it already!" Elena asked with a confused yet angry look,"Stop what?" "Drop The strong-heartless girl act. I Know you are not heartless, you feel emotions just like us, maybe even more. You don't have to hide them anymore, not from me. I know who you truly are, I always knew".

"But, but-" Tears started to fall. She couldn't hold them back anymore. It was too much, even for her. Her brother's death had shattered her. "I can't take it anymore. It hurts, it hurts too much. That fool! Why did he even fight if he knew he would lose? Why did he had to die? Why Can't he follow simple orders? Why is he so rebellious? He always had the bad habit of disobeying me. Playing pranks and teasing everyone was like his everyday routine. Making us all mad while he stood there laughing. He never stopped even after I punished him several times. He's gone now and his stupid pranks went with him. We will miss them, we will miss him, won't we?" She finally did it, she said he heart out. Her eyes were still filled with tears. Lucas smiled and said,"We surely will."

Author's note : The passage you just read is a part of a big story I am planning to write. It is an important part of the story which would be included later in the second half of the story. It is meant to be an emotional scene but if it doesn't seem that emotional then it is because I am not a good writer and this is my first story.
