The next day, Tyler went to school feeling normal once again. Josh and his friends stayed by his side really closely. Of course, they all suspected that Debby was behind the attempt on Tyler's life, but it wasn't confirmed.

During the day, Debby spied on Tyler until she found a perfect time to deceive him. She wanted to do it during a time when not many people would be around and Tyler would be somewhat alone.

Around lunch, Debby sat at her table alone; watching Tyler while polishing the poisoned apple. He was sitting with Josh and his friends.

He was laughing and having a great time while Josh wrapped his arms around him. Tyler's friends enjoyed seeing their best friend happy and having moved on from Jenna's death.

Later on, the teacher that was on duty told the students that lunch period will continue for another hour due to teacher class meetings. When heard about this, Tyler continued to enjoy his time with Josh and his friends. However, Josh started to stand up from his seat to go somewhere.

"Where are you going?" He asked.

"I need to use to restroom."

Tyler started to become sad.

"Don't worry." Josh said. "I'll be out in a bit."

"You promise?"

"I promise."

Josh kissed Tyler on the forehead before leaving to go to restroom.

Once he was in there, Tyler turned to head and saw that his friends had left. He was unsure why. They said they would never leave him alone again, especially after what happened.

When Debby looked and saw that Tyler was now all alone, she knew that this was her perfect opportunity to rid Tyler once and for all.

After she hid the apple in her bag, she stood up and walked over to Tyler's table. She sat down next to him.

"Hello sweet boy." She said.

"Good day." Tyler replied.

"You alone?"

"Yeah, for now."

Debby smiled.

"Don't worry child, I'll be your company until they return."

Tyler smiled back.

"That's very kind of you, but I'll be okay."

"Are you sure?"

"Of course."

"Well, alright then, but I'd like to give you something in exchange for your kindness."

Debby reached into her bag and pulled out the apple.

"An apple?" Tyler asked.

"It's the best one I've got. Look how red and rosy it is."

Tyler looked at it.

"I've never seen such a beautiful apple before."

"Take it child, it's yours."

Tyler longed for the apple, but he started to back out.

"I don't know if I should."

"Why? You're not afraid of poison, are you?"

"No, of course not."

"Then you have nothing to fear."

Tyler could not longer resist, he took the apple into his hands.

"Take a bite." Debby said.

"Just one?"

"Just one."
