"YOUR PERFECT DATE" I sighed seeing the name of my office. I don't remember why I had named it so. Its so cliché. But changing it now wasn't a good decision.

It's quite famous now, because clients are happy, and its like a belief among the crowd that if this agency organizes a date then its bound to get on the right track.

Today, is a big day for us. The project date we are working on for weeks now is destined to take place.

This client of our is quite different. She can't fix a proper date to propose her girlfriend.

After all the preparation is done, she gets nervous at the last minute, cancels everything and decides a new theme every time.

It's not our problem, after all she is compensating us adequately.

But it's tiring to watch all the efforts wasted.

Today, after a lot of counselling from me. (Yes me, 26 years old, single)

She agreed. I just hope everything goes well.

"Ana, cancel everything. Im never going to see her face, let alone propose her." Eleanor cried.

"Please don't be nervous, it will be...." I replied in a monotone.

After her words sunk in.

"What? What did you mean by that?" I asked.

"She cheated upon me. She has a boyfriend. I saw her today at the café with a guy, they seem to be more than just friends."

"I know all of her friends, but she never told me about that man." She was crying profusely now.

I felt sad for her. She really loved Aashi.

I consoled her and thought of confronting Aashi without informing Eleanor.

I know it's not my part to play but I felt that something wasn't right here.

After Eleanor left, I picked my keys and drove to the café half expecting to find Aashi there.

But what I saw there was totally unexpected. The whole café was buzzing with excitement and uproar as if there was a party going on.

I parked my car and went inside to find that it was the owner's anniversary and they were playing a game, where two customers stranger to each other had to pick chits and act accordingly.

I spotted Aashi, went and stood beside her. (She didn't know about me.)

Appearing as a curious spectator, I inquired about the happenings and what role did she played.

She was talking enthusiastically, said that she had to play the role of a girlfriend of a man. She pointed him out.

Everything clicked in place. Aashi was acting and Eleanor thought..

Just then, Eleanor burst into the café, eyes scalding hot, from crying, from rage.. I couldn't decide

She almost knocked Aashi with the hug and cried holding her, while asking her forgiveness, and explaining too.

Everyone stood stunned, watching them.

Aashi knelt on one knee and proposed her right there, "Hope, now you'll never have to be jealous."

While I felt a longing stare of a man upon me.
