A lot of you were asking for a Marvel chapter, and so we decided to do a little crossover between two profiles. Did you know that superhero profile hosts a Super academy The Academy?  If you don't you better check it out. Basic Info

Founded in 1939 by Martin Goodman in New York City, their first big character creation was Captain America in 1941. Instrumental in Marvel's success were Stan Lee, Jack Kirby, Steve Ditko, and Larry Lieber, who co-created Spider-Man, Hulk, Doctor Strange, Fantastic Four, Daredevil, Black Panther, X-Men, Ant-Man, Iron-Man, and Thor. Not bad, eh?

Comics

Marvel Comics were pioneers in the portrayal of more adult characters, focusing on their behavior and making them more realistic than their antagonists.
