Umalingawngaw ang sigaw ni Lola Elisa nang makabalik ang kaluluwa ko sa katawan. An unfamiliar pack of werewolves came out of the bush. Kumunot kaagad ang aking noo dahil sa pagtataka. Who are they?

Majority of the color of their furs are black and chocolate brown. Hergest, the ancient evil witch, finally gets what she wants. She inhabited the body of Meira Durano. When our eyes met, she was so surprised to see me alive.

"No!" I heard her mutter in anger.

She was about to get near me when a brown werewolf jumped into her. Her back fell first upon the ground. The wolf prevented her from getting up, but unfortunately, she managed to inflict a pain in his head. Made him fall to the ground, while holding his head. The sound of wolf's cry rang in my ear.

I wanted to help him. But the wolf looked straight to my eyes. It's as if telling me to get away from here. Sinunod ko naman ang gusto niya. In a matter of seconds, nandito na ako sa tabi ni Rory. I kneel my left knee to untie him. But no matter how I tried, mapapaso lang ang palad ko.

"Rope, here I am, hear my voice to be undone." My ear once again moved when I heard Hecate mutter an incantation. The slightest wind blows my hair. "By the power of crone, release them in your master's throne."

And just like that, ang lubid na nakagapos sa mga kamay nina Rory, Lola Elisa, Tita Grace, at Tito Ace ay bumagsak sa lupa. Kaagad na tumayo silang apat. Naramdaman ko ang pagtabi sa akin ni Ry. Our eyes met.

He then hugged me tight in relief.

I hugged him back. Nang kumawala siya sa pagyayakapan namin ay rinig na rinig ko ang malakas na kabog ng kaniyang dibdib. Hindi ko alam kung saan galing itong mga werewolves na hindi ako pamilyar. But I am glad they were here to help.

An era when the world is starting to evolve.

Tito Ace and Tita Grace starting to help. Pero nabaling ang aking atensyon sa ibang direksyon nang marinig ko na naman ang boses ni Hecate. Still, hindi ko pa rin siya nakikita.

"Aperti ianum!" she shouted her incantation.

After that, a wind blows once again. To my surprise, the binding circle where my pack gathered in one place, finally released. My heart became weightless when I saw Lupus out of the corner of my eyes. He was now helping the crescent kids to stay them away from peril.

The adults who just released inside the binding circle, helped fight the vampires who tried to block Lupus' way, preventing him from escaping with the kids. I absentmindedly held Ry's hands and we both snarled.

Two vampires went straight to our direction. Ry appeared behind the other one's back. Walang pag-alinlangang ibinaon niya ang kaniyang pangil sa leeg nito. Nang magsawa siya'y ang kaniyang kamay naman ang ibinaon niya sa dibdib. Ry mercilessly ripped his heart out.

Me, on the other hand, let myself slide between my enemy's leg. Dahilan para lumusot ako papunta sa likuran niya. Mabilisan akong bumangon at sinipa siya sa likuran ng kaniyang tuhod. Because of how heavy the impact was, I heard his bone cracked.

He fell his knees upon the ground. I didn't give him the chance to heal. Therefore, I slit his throat using my sharp nails and kicked his head. Dahilan para humiwalay ang ulo niya sa kaniyang katawan. The blood squirted right directly to my shirt.

"Rope, here I am, hear my voice to be undone." muli na namang umalingawngaw ang spell ni Hecate sa aking tenga. But I was quick to looked to my Lola's direction when I heard the sound of chain. "By the power of crone, release the Alpha in your master's throne!" When Hecate finally completed her incantation, rinig na rinig kong tuluyan nang nagbagsakan ang kadenang nakagapos sa kamay at paa ni Lola.

Nagkatinginan kami ni Lola sa mata. She then sprinted towards my direction. Nang mayakap ko siya'y naramdaman ko ang malambot niyang balahibo. Nabitawan namin ang isa't isa nang marinig namin ang sunod-sunod na ungol ng mga lobo.

Sumunod naman ang pagtingala ko sa kalangitan. My eyes grew wider and my heart skipped a beat when the moon changed its color. Blood moon. This is what Hecate saw in her vision.

Muli na namang nabaling ang aming atensyon nang marinig namin ang mga lobong nagbagsakan sa harapan ni Hergest. But when she realized we were released, her face became sour. From afar, I saw her jaw moved in anger.

She didn't attack us, instead she muttered another incantation. "Light as feather, stiff as a board." Then two witches from Meira's coven started to levitate. "Light as feather, stiff as a board." Another five witches levitate.

Hecate's voice rang in my ear. "Let sticks and stones break the evil witch's bones!" Napasigaw si Hergest nang bigla siyang napaluhod sa lupa sa kalagitnaan ng kaniyang spell-casting.

"Kailangan nating mapigilan si Hergest sa plano niya sa mga witches na galing sa coven ni Meira Durano, Kai," I heard Lola Elisa said.

Napatingin ako sa kaniya. Magkahawak na sila ngayon ng kamay nina Tita Grace at Tita Ace. They were holding each other's hand in circle. Just like what the witches in NetherRealm did. Sa gitna nila ay may puppet na gawa sa tuyong dahon ng palay. Tila ba'y isa itong mini-size ng scarecrow.

"Let sticks and stones break the evil witch's bones!" Four voices echoed in my ear. Lola Elisa then looked at me. "Distract her," she said. I was about to attacked when Lola blocked my way.

She looked at me with her yellow eyes. Then she howled. Dumating naman bigla ang dalawa pang werewolves. They are the werewolves I am not familiar with. Sabi ni Lola Elisa, ang Alpha nila ay ang descendant ng asawa ni Tarie Fodor. The woman who give me the goddess' blade.

Nagkatinginan ang tatlong taong-lobo, kasama na ang Lola ko, sa mata sa mata. Kaagad kong nahinuha kung sino sila. They are Alphas. Lola insisted they will be the one to distract Hergest. After they nodded to each other, they sprinted towards the evil witch's direction.

Habang kami naman ni Rory ay pinaslang ang lahat ng mga kalabang nakikita ng mga mata namin. At naririnig ng aming tenga. Ripping the vampires and werewolves heart is our top priority. Sinali ko na rin ang pagpugot ng kanilang ulo upang wala ng pag-asa pang mabuhay.

Tinablan kaagad ako ng takot nang makita kong napatilapon sina Lola at ang dalawa pang Alpha nang makalapit sila kay Hergest.

"Light as feather, stiff as a board. Light as feather, stiff as a board!" Nagulat na lamang ako nang biglang marinig ko ang mahihinang paghinga ng mga witches na nakalutang sa ere. Habang hindi sila makagalaw.

I gasped when I realized the incantation that Hergest muttered is a spell to telekinetically hang a person and leave them suspended in mid-air to choke until their death or the release of the spell.

"En nobis protestum." Nahinto si Hergest sa pagsasalita nang biglang tumunog ang pagkabali ng kaniyang buto. Hindi siya nagpatinag. Wala siyang pakialam. "Goddess Terpsichore, Mother of Dance. I offer you muses, enchant them with trance. Let body and movement and spirit romance. Your powers to our coven, dark magicks enhance," she once again muttered. "En nobis protestum."

"En nobis protestum!"

She repeated that spell over and over again. Not until an energy from the seven witches she telekinetically hung mid-air came out from their body. It flows directly to Meira's body, inhabited by Hergest.

The spell she casted is a siphoning spell. She wanted to absorb magic for her to be more stronger. Nang magsibagsakan ang mga kaawa-awang witches ay humarap siya sa amin. A devilish smile plastered upon her lips. Lola Elisa, Tita Grace, and Tito Ace's shoulders dropped in disappointment.

"Detegant istos ostenderet falsa!" Hergest shouted. A horrendous breeze quickly brushed against my skin.

Few inches away from where I am standing, Hecate appeared in my sight. Kaya pala hindi ko siya nakita. She let herself invisible, so she could move freely.

I heard her gasping. "Wind of the north." I heard Hergest cast another incantation. Nakatitig siya kay Hecate. My eyes grew wider when I realized.

"Hecate, run!" I shouted.

"Ball of fire, ball of flame." Napatingin ako sa gawi nina Lola Elisa, Tita Grace, at Tito Ace nang marinig ko silang sabay-sabay na magsalita.

Nakita kong tumakbo si Hecate papalapit sa pamilya niya. But she can't make it. I used my ability to help her. I quickly carried her in bridal style.

"Lend me your power come and forth!" Napamura na lamang ako nang biglang tumilapon kami pareho ni Hecate papunta sa malaking boulder.

We were as if pushed by a strong force of wind. Dahilan para mapatilapon kami. I was quick to hugged Hecate from the back, and use my body to shield her. Ayos lang kung ang likuran ko ang unang bumagsak sa malalaking bato dahil alam kong maghe-heal ako. Which is Hecate don't have.

Therefore, I should protect her.

I closed my eyes, and waited for the impact. But seconds later, my back landed on something different. Pareho naming naimulat ni Hecate ang aming mata. There we saw Rory and Lupus who are the one who caught and shielded us both.

Hindi natapos nina Lola Elisa, Tita Grace, at Tito Ace ang kanilang incantation. Dahil sa sobrang pag-aalala sa aming dalawa ni Hecate.

"You bitch," I heard Lola Elisa whisper. She looked at Hergest with her striking stares. Her jaw moved in anger when we all saw Hergest smiled at us devilishly.

Lola Elisa then raised her index finger to the direction of the evil witch. "Ball of fire, ball of flame." she muttered an incantation alone. A ball of fire suddenly grew at the edge of her index finger, "gather for me bright and plain!" she shouted the last incantation to complete it.

My mouth fell wide-open when a huge ball of fire came out from Lola Elisa's index finger. It went directly to Hergest. Every vampires and werewolves who saw it coming, mabilis silang umiwas.

A confident smile plastered on Hergest's lips. "In the name of the ancient sin," werewolves from Holial Pack started to walk, "protect me no matter how thick and thin." It's as if they were mind-compelled. "Rank three in holy trinity."

Holy trinity?

"Under the influence of slavery."

As Hergest finally completed a spell to counter Lola Elisa's, the Holial Pack gathered in front of her.

Sinalo nila ang fire ball ni Lola Elisa na para dapat sana kay Hergest. Ang nasa gitnang nagkumpulang mga lobo ay ang talagang mas napuruhan. Majority of them were dead because they receive a severe burn.

Fortunately, hindi kabilang sa mga namatay ang former Alpha ng Holial Pack. But out of the corner of my eyes, I saw a fragment of sadness in his face. Sumunod naman ang pagtulo ng luha nito sa mata.

It's as if they were forced to side with Hergest.

"The Holial Pack are under Hergest's curse," narinig kong wika ni Lola Elisa nang makalapit kami sa kaniya.

We were gathered here in the other side of my pack's territory. Halos naubos na namin ang mga kalaban. Pero hindi ko nakikita ang takot sa mukha ni Hergest. She is confident because she knows how powerful she is.

"Paano mo naman nasabi, Lola?"

Lola Elisa looked at her in a questioning look. "Based upon her incantation, Hecate," she straightforwardly responded. "She mentioned the word 'ancient sin'. Therefore, Holial Pack's former Alpha is the descendant of Malgum," she added.

As far as I can remember, Malgum is the third family in the tribe of witches.

"Fodor, Herrera, and Malgum are considered the holy trinity," she said. "I've read in the history book of witches that Logan Malgum, the eldest son, raped Hergest. When Hergest tried to tell everybody what Logan did to her, no one listened. Of course, she will condemn them for their sin," she gives us a brief explanation why she thinks that Holial Pack are cursed.

Ibig bang sabihin nito, hindi kagustuhan ng Holial Pack ang sundin lahat ng utos ni Hergest. They had no other choice but to follow. Since they have no control of themselves. Talaga nga namang pinukaw na naman ng bruha ang pagkamuhi ko sa kaniya.

"Trying to think a plan, are we now?" Napahinto kami sa pag-uusap nang marinig namin itong sumigaw.

Lola Elisa instructed us to form a circle. They wanted to channel our power to conjure a storm. Pero hindi ko alam kung para saan. Sina Lola Elisa at Tita Grace ay humawak sa magkabilang balikat ni Rory. Sumunod naman ay si Hecate na nakahawak sa isang kamay ng Lola niya.

Maging sina Tita Grace at Tito Ace. Ang natirang kamay nina Hecate at Tito Ace ay humawak naman sa aking magkabilang balikat. Napatingala ako nang maramdaman ko ang paghiram nila sa kapangyarihan ko.

"Mystic forces we invite, fill the skies with clouds of night," the four of them together muttered. A cloud started to gather above the territory of my pack. "Be ye far or be ye near, we summon rain to appear." The lightning started to dance and thunder drummed across the sky.

Out of the corner of my eyes, I saw Hergest order Akihiro and Kiara to attack us. To distract us. To prevent us from completing the spell. But Lola and the remaining werewolves from our side snarled in warning.

Akihiro and Kiara stopped few inches away from us. They were waiting a right time to attack. At nagsimula na nga silang maglaban. But Lola Elisa opened her eyes and stare at me. She told me through her stare that I should focus.

"Sky above, under the blood moon, melodies just begun. Sky above, come undone, shower rain on everyone," so we continued. Lola Elisa then speak to me telepathically. She wanted me to repeat the last line of their incantation. "Sky above, come undone, shower rain on everyone. Sky above, come undone, shower rain on everyone!"

We all repeated muttering that spell until rain poured down. After that, we helped Lola to fight with Akihiro and Kiara. Lupus jumped into Akihiro's. Dahilan para mapabagsak ito sa lupa. When Ry appeared beside with him, he grabbed Akihiro on his neck and stare at him in disgust.

Walang pagda-dalawang isip na ibinaon ni Ry ang kaniyang kamay sa dibdib nito. He then pulled it with Akihiro's heart in his palm. Akihiro fell upon the ground cold. When Kiara saw what happened to him, she attempted to escape.

But unfortunately for her, nakagat siya ni Lola sa binti nito. Napasigaw siya nang maramdaman niya ang pagbaon ng pangil ng isang lobo. A mocking smile plastered upon my lips while looking at her downfall. Kaagad ko siyang tinalikuran nang pagtulungan siya ng mga lobo.

"Mga hangal!" dumadagundong ang boses ni Hergest nang makita niya ang sinapit ng mga walang kwenta niyang alalay.

"If the Holial Pack were cursed, let the water rain wash the hex away." My eyes went straight to Lola Elisa when she muttered a brand new incantation. A curse removal spell. "If the Holial Pack were cursed, let the water rain wash the hex away."

Tumigil siya sa pagbanggit ng mga salita nang marinig namin ang ungol ng mga lobong isa sa Holial Pack. The remaining members and the former Alpha sprinted towards our direction. Leaving Hergest on the other side with the remaining vampires who sided with her.

Subalit nagtakbuhan naman ang mga ito. Dahil dito naiwan siyang mag-isa. I transformed into my wolf-like form. Ako ang nangunguna. Sa likuran ko naman ay ang apat pang Alpha. Rory stood beside me. Sa kanan ko naman ay sina Hecate at Lupus.

"Holy Trinity."
