Wolf Bite (Part Two)
After Calliope disappeared during her run, Juliette searched for her for days only to find dead ends and wolf fur. There were no wolves in Savanah that she knew of other than a few packs of werewolves that shared her and Calliope's territory, but the fur smell was different. It was warm like cinnamon and ash from a new fire. It was the smell of Cal. She had found a clue.
But then wolf attacks started popping up all around town. A rouge wolf was hunting people. Everyone was told to stay in their homes until the wolf was either killed or relocated.
A sharp, piercing scream filled the once quiet town as the change overwhelmed a pack-less wolf. As Juliette tracked it, she found a woman transforming. As she looked closer, she saw a ring glint in the moonlight. It was a thin gold band, one that Calliope used to wear. Her fur was a dark golden brown like her skin. As the werewolf looked at the moon that night, the cinnamon-like scent returned to Juliette's nose, and she started to question if the rogue wolf was Cal.
( I know the skips are a bit jumpy, but I'm working on little to no energy here.)
