It was nice, being able to have fun. Most of the time, he was busy. Busy keeping his family up, busy helping his brother learn what he could. That night, they had decided to go to the park. It was calming, and a good time to bond. They were so focused that they didn't notice something.

Killer knew it was too good to be true.

A group of vampires had ambushed them. All of them were tall, and as he and his family cowered, the two tallest ones stepped forward.

"What have we here, Mitch?"

"Looks like people invading our territory, Dirk. Should we teach them a lesson?"

Dirk smiled gruesomely. "More food for us that way."

The vampires pounced on his small family of four, sucking as much blood as they could from their neck vertebrae. He could hear the ear-shattering cries from his kin and himself echoing throughout the forest, his cries loudest of them all as tears streamed down his skull.

Just then a black-boned skeleton tore Mitch off of Killer. As he beat Mitch down, Dirk looked up and paled.

"It's them! SCATTER!" Dirk yelled, grabbing Mitch and barely escaping with the rest of his henchmen.

Killer looked up at the black skeleton. "T-Thank you..."

"The name's Error. And, uh, no problem."

Killer looked around, and seeing that Error was the only one in the area, asked, "What did he mean by 'them'? I only see you around here.."

Error smirked. "They see one and assume the rest are coming. Anyway," he said, looking more serious, "I've come to take you in."

Killer frowned. "What about my family?"

Error looked away. "You were the only one still screaming when I came."

Tears streamed down his face.

If you can tell this isn't my typical writing, this actually belongs to SkyTheAlmighty who is my editor for my stories for free, and I decided to let her make up Killers backstory because I forgot my original plans!

And to warn you guys, there won't be a second book for this. I don't want to make this run on for too long, so I want to finish this as soon as possible so it doesn't wait for another million years before someone forces me to update. I still have all of those Sanscest stories to finish, so yeah. I'll finish this story as soon as possible and then we'll go onto the next Sanscest stories.
