Chapter 65 - Now It's War

Bubbly knew it went wrong when she could see people running in the windows.

Royal Guard, no doubt, judging by how many people ran in the windows, someone had alerted them. Her blond haired friend looked over, crossing her arms.

"Don't, ya don't need'a say anythin'." Bubbly said.

"Silica probably screwed up, or was actually on Asgores side the whole time," She said.

"Can you just have a little bit of faith in her?" Bubbly snapped.

"Hey, you dropped the accent," Her friend said, "You really do want to believe in her, don't you?"

"If we keep being too careful, we'll never meet new people, or get to explore and be happy again," Bubbly said, "Not all people are like those people before."

"But some can be."

"Like Asgore."

Bubbly looked up at the moon before looking back at the castle, hearing distant yells and shouts as some people started running out of the castle, others sneaking out of windows with bags and such.

"It looks like she got the word around," Her blond haired friend said.

"Looks like we ain't got time t'a screw around, ain't we?" Bubbly asked.

"I'll take left, you take right?"

"Yup."

~~~~~~
Silica had finally, finally found Edge.
She could hear his voice from down the hall, noting it coming from an open doorway with an orange glow coming from the door. At this point, Silica doubted much of the castle was even asleep anymore, judging by how many people she could hear walking about. Just the mere mention of hope had gotten everyone excited, helping others hopefully escape as well. She knew Bubblys ship was big, it could hold a lot of people, so if these people could make it to the boat, they could escape.
"Edge!" Silica said, stepping into the room.
And Edge, as it turned out, was not alone.
When the tall King Asgore turned around to look at her, she knew she should've made sure Edge wasn't with Asgore before she entered the room.
"You," Asgore hissed, narrowing his eyes at the girl.
"Silica?" Edge asked.
"Edge, get out of there, now!" Silica said quickly, backing away from the room, "We can go! Hurry!"
"Wait, what?" Edge asked.
It happened too fast.
Silica had never seen the King fight, but she knew he was strong. And he was fast. Too fast. Edge couldn't have dodged the strike, since he was standing between her and him, the blow sent him flying in her direction before his body sent both of them slamming into the hallway wall behind her. She saw blood on the ground as she blinked her eyes clear, unsure if it was hers or Edges.
Then, when she turned her head and saw his chest, she gasped.
It was a nasty slice, going down from his pelvis all the way to his shoulder. Edge probably couldn't take another hit from Asgore, that one blow had knocked him out fully, having him slumped unconscious on top of her.
"EDGE!" Silica yelled out, twisting her body to look at Asgore, who stood in the doorway with an angry expression.
But she swore she could hear someone else yell his name with hers.
"He was always worthless to me, anyways," Asgore said, lifting his hand as a fireball was formed above it, "I might as well dispose of the trash."
There was nothing she could do as he flung it towards her. She had no weapons, she was trapped under her friends body. So all Silica could do was watch as the fireball grew closer, and-
Someone dove in front of it to protect them.
And got hit directly in the chest with the fireball.
Another chapter out!
Also, I've been working on drawing the Sanscest children that I've made and another person has made, banana-dog and I both made some Sanscest children and I've been drawing them. I have 4 done of now, I think.
And I was thinking of putting them in a Sanscest child book and like writing like comics about them, since I need to practice drawing and I'm not allowed to be on my computer much for writing anymore. So yeah, that might happen.
