It was kind of awkward between me & Matt.

"Hey, beautiful!" Called a voice from behind me, I hoped it was Matt, but unfortunately, it wasn't, it was my ex boyfriend, Andy.

"Hi, Andy." I said making it obvious that I did NOT want to talk to him.

"Wow. You look gorgeous today." He told me.

"Great for me then, bye." I responded. As I turned to walk away Andy grabbed my arm.

"Wait! Don't go yet!" Andy called.

"What is it, Andy?" I asked beginning to get annoyed.

"Well you see... my new girlfriend just dumped me a-" Andy began.

"I've heard enough now, Andy." I said. He dumped me, and now only wants be back because he got dumped! Not happening! I walked away.

"Oh whatever, Lizzie you almost won me back over" he said.

"I don't want you back!" I said.

I sat back against my locker, looking for my pencil when I remembered that Matt still had it. Great. Just great.

"Hey, Lizzie I just wanted to- Lizzie! Are you all right?" Matt asked me.

"Yeah I'm fine," I said.

"But, Lizzie you look upset..." Matt said to me in his sweet, soft voice.

"I'm just, frustrated." I said to him.

"How so?" He asked me.

"My ex, Andy just came up to me, telling me that his new girlfriend dumped him, trying to win me back when, he broke my heart." I said as I realized that I'd just emptied my heart to a boy that I met this morning.

"Well..." Matt began, "this ex sounds like an jerk. Only an idiot would dump someone as amazing as you..." Matt told me before we BOTH started blushing.

"R-really?" I asked him, as I began to calm down.

"Really, now don't let that jerk get you down. Oh! Before I forget, here's your pencil back!" He said as he gave me my pencil.

"Thank you Matt see you tomorrow." I said, as I kissed him on the cheek and ran off to find the girls.
