The chapter title is probably super confusing to you guys because I couldn't think of another way to describe it in a short way...

Basically, I almost gave myself I heart attack because I thought I started shipping Reynabeth and I was like NUUUU PERCABETH IS LYFE!!! And I even posted about it on my page here on Wattpad and I was about to rant about it on Twitter-

But then, I looked up "Reynabeth" on Pinterest and realized that it wasn't Reyna and Annabeth as a couple that I liked. No, all the fanart with them together I hated. It was actually the Headcannon that Reyna liked Annabeth or had a crush on her or whatever because of that thing in BoO.

It was these that I liked:

I think Rick was dropping hints about Reyna liking Annabeth with that thing. And with the whole "You will never fall in love with a demigod man" thing that happened. I kind of see it as like the Percy and Nico thing. Percy doesn't have a thing for Nico and is oblivious to the fact that Nico liked him. And Nico secretly liked Percy but didn't tell anyone.

So, yeah. That's how I learned that I don't ship Reynabeth, but I subconsciously acknowledged the fact that Reyna could like Annabeth and almost gave myself a heart attack because I thought I shipped it.

And, how I learned the difference between ships and headcannons. I hope I've saved some of you future pain. Remember, if suddenly you start thinking that you ship your NOTP, just stop and think about whether you'd really want them together or if you just think one of them likes the other.
