Milk and Cookies
Your P.O.V:
After another day in the horror called school, I walked home. It was Friday, and I felt victorious because I survived another week of bullying, work, and social interaction. Yeah, I'm not the most popular or outgoing person.
That's due to the fact that I have a small, tiny, minuscule, obsession with Undertale AUs. Okay, maybe a big obsession, but can you blame me? There's so many wonderful, heart capturing, beautiful alternative universes! How could someone not love them?
Alright, I'm sorry, that was a very stupid question. There are a LOT of sanses that don't like AUs, and I can name almost all of them off the top of my head. Heck, even my favorite character hates AUs!
And do you know who might that be? Well, he's the greatest sans ever, in my opinion. His name is-
*drip*
What?
I look up in confusion, as something wet lands on my head. Then more land on my shirt, then my shorts, and shoes, until I realize it's raining. I sigh, knowing I don't have a rain jacket or unbrella. I continue walking as someone drives by in a truck, splashing me with water.
I yelp and look at the people in the truck, who have their windows down.
"Hey, glitch lover! See you Monday!"
Jared yelled. He was one of the kids who liked to bully me, so I knew what was coming. He held a straw to his lips and fired several spit wads at me, never missing their target. I growled as their truck sped up and splashed me one last time before disappearing down the street.
Well, I bet you know who my favorite person is now, based on that insult. But if you didn't get it, it's Error.
I looked down at my clothes, wet and covered in white, crumpled up spit wads. Great. Now I need to was laundry, again. I rolled my eyes and run the rest of the way home, hoping nothing else will happen.
.
.
.
After a walk in the rain, I make it to my beautiful house. It's a two story building with numerous large rooms, a basement, attic, patio, and golden gate with silver decorations around the whole property. The walls are white with a blue base and crown board.
I close the door then walk up the staircase to my bedroom. I yeet my backpack in my closet because why not? School isn't until Monday!
I close the door and change into shorts, some comfy socks, and a white loong sleeve shirt with red cuffs then leave the room. On the way out, I drop my wet clothes in the laundry basket next to my door.
I stumble out into the hallway and look down the stairway leading back to ground level. I sigh and look at my options.
Okay, it's finally Friday, but my brain is dead and lazy. I don't wanna walk ALL THE WAY down the ENTIRE staircase! No way! I wanna be LAZY!!
I smile and turn to walk back in my room, but my stomach conveniently uses this moment to grumble. I sigh again.
Damn it, stomach. Why ya gotta be hungry, huh? You like scrap? Huh? Huh?!
I put my fists up and punched the air, making 'huh' noises with every punch. When I realized what was happening, I smacked myself in the forehead and slowly dragged my hand down my face.
God, I am going insane. No one has a mental argument with their stomach, or asks it to fight. You wanna know why? Because that's crazy.
I turn back around and face the stairway, and my stomach growls again.
"Alright, alright, I'm going! Geez, pushy much?" I ask myself.
I stare down the long stairway, with an even longer banister. Wait. banister....
I smirk at my idea and sit on the banister, quickly sliding down the wide surface and landing on my feet.
I walk into the kitchen and make some milk and cookies. I quickly eat the cookies and take my milk to the backyard.
I open the door to the patio and deeply inhale the air, smelling the clean scent of the rain. I like the smell of the rain. It calms me down.
I sit on a blue hammock hung from the porch and rock back and forth, taking sips of the milk.
I overlook the backyard, which is a fairly large grassy area with blue and purple flowers sprouting all over. There is a big tree in the back, with a tire swing tied to its branches, and a treehouse hidden in the leaves.
Before the base of the tree lies a bush of roses, which are freshly cut and blooming. The rain droplets on the petals looked like sparkling jewels and diamonds, catching my eye.
I looked up at the cloudy, gray sky, from which the beads of water fell. A heavy storm was forming quickly, not like the drizzle that had fallen just minutes before.
The wind picked up and swirled my hair around my face, tickling me. I pushed it out of the way and decided it was time to head back inside.
I start to walk back in when I heard a groan of pain. I turned around, confused.
But there's no one else here. . . Right?
I looked for any signs of human life, but found nothing. I shrugged and turned back around, but then I heard a distorted scream.
I whirled around but still saw nothing. I narrowed my eyes and squinted, but was not having any luck. The storm raged harder, and I gulped and took a step backwards.
"Oh, no no no no no! Don't you dare go out there, (y/n). This is too much like a horror movie, and the next thing you know, I'll be cut in half! Don't go out there!" I yelled at myself.
I quickly hurried into the house and shut the door, locking every single lock and putting a chair in front of it, just in case. I slumped against the door, curling into a tight ball.
I was terrified.
My imaginative brain used this moment to think of every possible scenario where I could be hurt, killed, kicked, sucker punched, bit, kneed, karate chopped, or shot.
I whimpered and pulled my knees closer to my chest. I was honestly debating on whether or not I was ever going to move from this door, because as soon as I do, someone could bust it down.
But then I thought of what would happen if I didn't go outside. What would happen then?
'Well, I wouldn't be putting my life in possible danger, for one. I also won't get any more wet than I am, that's a plus.'
I smiled, but it soon faltered.
But what if someone's hurt? Some poor, lost, injured animal is suffering out there? I CAN'T JUST DO NOTHING!!
I sighed and walked over to my window, pulling back the white curtains just a crack. I cautiously peered out, looking in the direction of the bush.
I couldn't see much because of the rain quickly running down the window, distorting everything. I shakily took in a breath and closed the window as I walked over to the back door.
I grabbed a broom resting against the door frame and moved the chair back to its original place. I unlocked every lock and grabbed the doorknob, slowly turning it and exiting my house.
Error's P.O.V:
"nO!!! StAy aWAy fROm mE, yOU gLiTCheS!!" I screamed, as the mile-wide swarm of sanses surrounded me.
I reached in my eyesockets and pulled out my glowing blue string. I threw it towards the monsters around me, but it was soon cut off by Dream, who stood close to me. Fell harshly elbowed me in the ribs, drawing a groan of pain to escape my mouth.
I doubled over as someone punched me square in the spine while another person kicked my side.
"Give up, Error. You know you're over powered. "
"nO!!" I cried, summoning a ring of sharp red bones from the ground, stabbing those around me. The bones retreated back into the ground as I attempted to stand, but I was soon trapped.
Dream, Fell, Classic, and Blue held my arms behind my back and faced me toward the evil skeleton who planned the whole ambush. I struggled as hard as I could to get free, but there were too many sanses against me. I still tried to fight.
"Stop."
"nO!!"
I suddenly felt something cold collide with my arms and legs, which soon solidified. The paint had dried into something that resembled a chain bracelet, but I knew they really were.
They were magic restraints.
I knew instantly there was no escaping now, so I desperately fought against my captors. Kicking, screaming, biting, and even cussing. I just needed to get away.
"Error."
"nO!!!!!"
"Error."
"StOP!! LeT mE gO!!"
"Error!!"
"GeT aWaY FrOM m- aHHhhHhhH!!!"
I felt another cold liquid slam against my body, but soon felt a stinging pain everywhere the liquid touched. I looked down at my chest, which now was covered in red paint. It hurt the most because the concentration of the paint was stronger there than anywhere else. I screamed in pain, and heard a sigh.
"I told you to stop fighting."
I wanted to come up with an insult, comeback, roast, something but pain was clouding my mind. My whole body felt like it was being burned, and I was struggling to stay awake.
"Error, you've proven to everyone that you're too big a threat to remain here, so I'm gonna ask you one last time. Will you ever change your ways?"
I shook my head, and the pain got worse. I began to have a hard time breathing, and had to stop in between words to breathe.
"I . . . cAn'T . . ."
I heard another sigh, followed by the sound of a portal opening. I glanced up in fear, but quickly put my head back down when I felt the sting of the red paint spread across my neck.
"Then you leave me no choice. If you're not gonna stop your destructive ways, you remain a threat. I can't allow that, and therefore you must be terminated. The world we're sending you to is filled with merciless people, but they'll kill you quickly if you're lucky."
I gasped at how cruel my enemy could be.
"YOu . . . hOrRIblE . . . mOnStEr!! JuSt kIlL . . . mE nOw, yOu pIeCe oF sH-"
I was cut off my a swift punch to the gut, causing me to spit out blood. The pain was becoming so bad that I could barely even stand, my mind swimming.
"As much as I'd enjoy that, you don't deserve a quick death after what You've done. Say goodbye."
Fear rushed through my entire being as I felt the air rush around me as I was thrown through the portal. The portal closed just I hit the ground, the impact nearly knocking me out. I groaned, and my pounding headache got worse.
I stirred to stand up, but felt something sharp stab into my fresh wounds from the paint, which by the way, was still burning my bones. I screamed in pain before my brain decided it couldn't handle anything anymore.
The last thing I remember before passing out was the feeling of rain.
Your P.O.V:
I was instantly hit by the quickly falling rain. My hair wildly flew around and my vision was blurred. I shivered at the windchill, which made it feel ten degrees colder than it really was.
I quickly ran over to the rose bush and moved aside some of the leaves and flowers. Petals began to tear off the bush and land on my shirt, as the sharp thorns clawed at my skin and clothing.
I continued to push through the bush, in search for any form of life. By the time I uncovered the creature, my eyesight was in very bad condition from being mercilessly attacked by the elements. I squinted and blinked a few times, attempting to clear the liquid from my eyes.
I looked down at the figure below me, but was only able to make out a few colors and its rough outline.
The outline appeared to belong to a person, a person who had an interesting color scheme. From what I can tell, they were black, blue, yellow, a little purple, and red. A LOT of red.
The rain picked up in intensity, but the body never moved. Acting on impulse, I quickly picked the person up and carried them in the house.
I laid them gently on a bed in one of the guest bedrooms and placed a blanket over them. I then went back downstairs and shut the door. I locked the locks and closed the windows, drying my eyes on a my sleeve. I blinked away the last of the water and sat down on the couch, quickly changing into another shirt that was identical to my current one.
I laid back and closed my eyes, fighting off the temptations of a nap. I would've slept if I hadn't taken in a total stranger. I'm not gonna run the risk of them killing me in my sleep.
'Speaking of sleep...'
Hey, they were alseep this whole time. How do you just sleep through a storm? Where did they even come from?
I shuddered.
Must mean they're sick. I'll go check on them, just in case.
I stood up and walked through the hallways to the guest room I put them in, grabbing a first aid kit on the way. The first aid kit had a little Error sans sticker on the front, my own little touch. I smiled and entered the room, slowly walking to the side of the bed as to not wake them up.
I slowly took the blanket off their face to examine if they had any injuries.
What I saw made me do a double take.
The person was a black boned skeleton with closed red eyesockets with three blue lines running down from each socket. They had yellow teeth and wore a blue scarf and black jacket, along with a red shirt and black gym shorts. They also wore black slippers.
Wait, is that...
I checked their hands, which were black with red and yellow at the fingertips.
Is it really?!?!
I checked their body and saw Error signs floating around the figure.
I covered my mouth and harshly bit my tongue to stop myself from screaming.
OH MY JESUS CHRIST, IT'S ERROR!!!
