Artist problems

I hate people who make fun of my art. Its fine if they say that's bad I just can NOT stand it when people draw something crappy as fuck that is meant to be a "Better version" of my drawing that i spent at the very least 10-20 minutes on! The drawing they did took them at most 30 seconds. And its always boys (For me at least) who do this. This has gotten me closes to tears before, and they just laugh at how "Bad" my art is, I dont care if its a joke, I dont care if it was just "For fun", I dont care if they didn't mean anything by it. Words hurt, being put down hurts, but what really hurts is when people make fun of my hard work, and it just a punch in the gut to my already low self esteem. It hurts and though it hasn't happened yet this year, I can only hope it won't.
