RWBY

Heyo guys!

The following paragraph is an expert from the original copy of this chapter:

My sibling is trying to assimilate me into their crazy anime fandom. Don't get me wrong, anime is respectable (most of the time) and there are other Fandoms they could be in that are much more cringe-inducing.

The chapter died when I watched two seasons of the show in one weekend, knew all the lore, listened to the soundtrack (I can recommend some REALLY good songs there heavy metal, contemporary, slow and techno songs), looked at the season four leaks and gushed about it to my friends afterwards.

It's a show about a school of hunters/huntress' that kill the Grimm, which are evil creatures that wreck havoc across their world. These hunters/huntress' are divided into teams, with the show being about team RWBY.

Ruby Rose is the girl in red, while Weiss Schnee is dressed in while. Blake Belladona is wearing black, while Ruby's sister, Yang, is in the yellow.

The animation for the first season isn't very good, but it improves a little in the second when movements become more fluid and more characters are animated. I think the third season is the best though because the animation is really cool and all 3D and the plot gets pretty interesting.

My favourite character sadly isn't from team RWBY. She's from team JNPR (another team the show features a lot). There isn't a lot of merchandise for the series yet, but one of my local nerd culture stores is selling figurines and oversized tees.

Here's some cool Fanart I made:

The reason I was reluctant to watch it was because I have a sad history with anime, as we've mainly gotten off on the wrong foot. When I was in years 5 and 6, my friends were obsessed with a variety of anime franchises and they weren't exactly... My kind of thing.

Sorry if you like these but I legit ripped my hair out watching half of this

• Vampire Knight
The title says it all. Vampires, high-school, creepy step-sibling incest.
• Wolf Children
Again, title very self-explanatory. Half-wolf children discovering their identities while juggling school and love.
• Baka to Test to Shoukanjuu
Don't remember a lot about this one. Very cheesy far as I remember, more high-school and love interests.

I watched a few others that I couldn't remember the title of and it seems I'm not a big fan of light-hearted high-school based anime.

Who'd of thunked?

However, I did find one glorious, well-animated and heart-wrenching anime called "Angel Beats!"

This anime made me cry, laugh and gush about it. Has a great storyline about a bunch of teenagers in the afterlife, who can't ascend to heaven yet due to unfinished business of sorts. This group is fighting one girl who they call Angel, who runs this area on the afterlife. They don't know how or why she's there, but they continue to try to gain power.

It has a shock twist ending and I think they're in something similar to Purgatory.

I'm definitely not an expert and am most certainly uncultured in anime, but I'm willing to take any suggestions. The thing that sucks the most though is that crunchyroll.com doesn't have a lot of popular anime still, such as Death Note. After seeing Dan's anime suggestions in a new light, I'm trying my best to waste even more of my little time.

BUE!
