Honestly, this really only will take affect if/when I join another killing game (may not be for a while) but I'm curious.

I've been doing a lot of BATIM characters, and while I love them, it feels like I'm using them too much and I want a fresh perspective, a new muse to use.

Lucky me, I have some options.

But I'm interested in knowing who sounds interesting to you guys. Which character you would want to interact with.

Please note!! This chapter will contain some sort of spoilers for NieR: Automata (the worst of which will be under 2B).

So below I'll give the basics: a name, their talent, personality, and a short roleplay sample.

No. 1: Adam

Talent: Researcher (Alternates: Architect, Anthropologist, etc)

Personality: obsessed with humanity and wants to learn everything there is to know about humans. Why do we wage wars? What makes us tick? He harbors a grudge towards the aliens who created him and his brother because he's had nobody to learn from yet had to teach his brother everything he could. Also, he built an entire city himself, so. Yeah. 

Sample: This place was strange, yes. But oh so intriguing. Humans had some truly spectacular games to play, and he knew this one wouldn't be dull. Field research was the best kind, he remembered reading. This environment would let him see how hatred impacted a group of ordinary people. Perhaps he'd come to know of death's hidden secrets as well.

No. 2: Eve
Talent:  Caretaker (Alternates: Weapon, 

Personality: he's absolutely devoted to his older brother, and is very emotional when they have to be separated. He doesn't understand Adam's fascination with humans or why Adam won't let him walk around sans clothes but if Adam wants it, he'll do it. He's very skilled in taking care of his older brother, despite being the youngest.

Sample: He didn't need to be in this game. No. Nothing mattered, nothing save for Adam. If he lost...if he died...that didn't matter either. Death meant nothing to the machine, not if his death could save his brother.

Name: 2B
Ultimate: Soldier (actual talent: Executioner)
Personality: She couldn't be blunter if she truly tried. 2B's purpose is to save humanity, so if there are humans...she'll put herself in harm's way to protect them. Initially cold and icy; the mantra "emotions are prohibited" keeps her in check and prevents her from getting attached. Sample: Things were bad. Since being here, she had not been able to get any contact from Command, and even Pod 042 had no idea what was going on. Still, there had to be survivors. Who knew? Maybe at last...she could finally kill God.

Name: 9S 

Ultimate: Scout (Alternates: Hacker, Scanner, Infiltrator)

Personality: He's so curious...So so curious. 9S is a scout model assigned to work with 2B. They're a great team, though she's very slow to call him by his nickname: Nines. But he secretly harbors a grudge towards 2B (why do you think she's an executioner? Curiosity killed the cat...). Very polite boy!!

Sample: "Oh! So...you're human. And you're human? Really! So...was the data in the Bunker incorrect?" He rambled. "I mean...it says mankind has been extinct before YorHa came into fruition!" So much to learn...so little time. There were so many things he was coming to realize. This was...exciting.

Anyway there's more characters I just am lazy at the moment.

Also, they're all machines/androids none are biological in any way.

Fun fact: I've been writing for this little gang since 2019-2020 ish. The amount of headcanons that I have for them is insane.
