I love all these characters and while there are ways to make them work-

These guys are, for the most part, ridiculously overpowered.

ONE OF THEM HAS A SWORD WITH THE ABILITY TO BREAK REALITY.

so yeah here we go.

These are characters from the fate series

1: Gilgamesh (Archer)
Fate Series

Where do I even start with this guy?

He's the King of Heroes; this means that he is the oldest hero in human history and every hero/legend has elements taken from his tale.

His treasury holds all the wealth of the world, you name it HE HAS IT. The only exception to this are items wielded exclusively by the Gods.

Excalibur? Has the original version of the sword.

Gael Bolg? Yup.

He's insanely powerful, and due to his clairvoyance he can also see into the future.

Also he's a major jerk, making him fun to write for but I gotta be in the mood for a grumpy man.

But if I WERE to use him....

I'd use the child version, bc he doesn't wield the reality breaking sword and doesn't use his abilities at their maximum potential.

2: Heracles
Fate Series

For the SOUL reason that even if you somehow manage to kill this guy, he HAS 12 LIVES AND IS SUPER POWERFUL.

IT'S HERACLES.

Plus he's a berserker and they tend to...not use their words. So yeah. Nope.

3: Diarmuid
Fate Series

I love the guy, really, I do. And as far as abilities are speaking, he's actually one of the weaker servants.

But trust me, it's best that I keep him on the back burner.

You see, in Irish legend, Diarmuid had a love spot that made maidens fall madly in love with him at just one sight.

It caused a lot of trouble during his life.

But yeah- I don't want to make every single female in a killing game start obsessing over him especially bc the love spot was given to him by fairies and I don't think it cares what the subject prefers in a partner, just "obsess over this guy".

Until I figure out a way for this to be worked around, I won't bring him in as a way to help other members of the cast.

4: Hasan of the Serenity
Fate Series

Her skin itself is deadly poisonous.

She's so precious but if you touch her at all?

Your character dies, unless they're like...god-like beings or have super high poison resistance (and even then it's going to be quite the trip).

5: Semiramis
Fate Series

Not only do I...not fully understand what her deal is with the dragon heads she can summon through portals, she's also the world's first poisoner.

Like, in the fate grand order game, during Valentine's Day, SHE GIVES THE PLAYER POISONED CHOCOLATE?! Like not harmless stuff like the chemicals within pufferfish.

Not even the person who summoned her is safe.

She'd poison everyone very soon.

No thanks, we like living.

6: Jack the Ripper
Fate Series

Listen I love Jack.

Jack's a precious little child (fate lore is wild y'all that's all I'm gonna say)

But I would NOT like to deal with her.

It's hard enough dealing with the stress of a killing game, but this child is obsessed with being born and being carried in the womb, and frankly that's....that's stress that I wouldn't want to wish on anyone.

Plus they're likely to call almost all the women around them "mommy".

7: Ereshkigal
Fate Series

She's goddess of the underworld.

...goddess.

Enough said.
