Chrissy was sitting upon a rock, her tail shimmering in the sunlight, the pink scales glistened in the sunlight as water dripped from her body. She sang happily as the waves crashed against the rock she was sitting upon. As she sang a figure rose out of the water below, her wet hair cupping her face. "Oh... hello." Chrissy said as she finished her song.

"You sing very beautifully." The figure remarked as she pulled herself out of the rocks. "Your tail is very pretty as well. What a lovely shade of pink."

"Well thank you, your tail is pretty too." Chrissy remarked as she looked the newcomer's tail up and down. "What's your name?"

The girl's blue and white striped tail flicked up and down slightly as she smiled. "Robin. What's yours?"

"Chrissy. I like your name, after the birds that fly above us.. Oh how I wish sometimes I could fly in the sky."

"We get the whole of the ocean, my name may be after some birds but I'd rather have these pretty tails and get to explore the ocean. Maybe it would be more fun to explore if you and I did it together?"

"You would want to explore the ocean with me?" Chrissy asked, cocking her head as she looked over her tail. She placed her hand on her shimmering scales and looked Robin in the eye. "You..you really actually want to? I've always been exploring on my own ever since I was old enough to leave home."

"Well it's time for you to have someone to be with you, explore with you." Robin smiled as she got a bit closer to her. Their fingers interlocked as Chrissy locked eyes with Robin. "I would like to start exploring the ocean with you. The ocean is really large, there is so much of it yet to be explored, I figured maybe we could spend time together... going ocean to ocean, seeing new things. Even coming ashore like this to let the sky hear your voice. I could hear it below the waves, it's truly beautiful. Are you part siren?"

"No.. but some days I wish I was."

Robin chuckled at her admittance. "Want to come see my collection of things? We could add yours to mine if you have any."

Chrissy nodded, taking her hand, the two jumped into the ocean, the security of the waves engulfing them once more. Robin brough Chrissy to her safe haven, Chrissy swam about the space looking over the many found items and crystals. "This is all yours?"

"I've found every piece myself." Robin smiled as she picked up a necklace. "This one's for you, because I found you myself and you're my treasure too." Robin inched closer and placed the necklace over her neck placing the clasp back together. "Maybe we can go explore the ship I found this in together if you'd like that."

Chrissy ran her hand over the metal and smiled. She leaned forward and planted a kiss on the mermaid's lips before nodding happily and blowing bubbles. Robin smiled wide and pulled her into a hug before returning the kiss.
