Ashley's interest suddenly peaked in her group's conversation as all the attention was now on her. She looked towards Kirishima who had a wide grin. This is their third year in U.A. and as friends and they all must have realized she wasn't listening to anything they just said.

Kiri's smile didn't disappear at the quick answer but instead everyone started smiling at her.

"What if.."

Kirishima glanced to the side, Ashley not wanting to put any more effort than she was in the conversation did not follow his eyes.

"What if it was someone close to you?"

At that moment it seemed like everyone was leaning in and Ashley was visibly uncomfortable.

'Of course he does this shit when Kate isn't here'

"What if! What if I told you.. you were very close to them, emotionally and at the moment physically"

The two people next to her was Deku and Bakugo and she knew it was not fucking Deku.

Deku wasn't smiling either but he hasn't been smiling all day so it was nothing new, poor puppy missed his owner. He wasn't the most excited hearing Kate was sick.
