You're It, Good Luck
Baby Harry was always a little terror. The Marauders, apart from Peter, took it in turns to look after Harry due to Order meetings, or they just couln't handle him. They had sorted out simple plan as to who looks after Harry; first it would be James and Lily, and if they couldn't, Sirius would take over, and if he couldn't it would be Remus unless it was close to a full moon meaning he couldn't handle a screaming child. And if Remus couldn't, it would be Lily who took over. Simply. Easy. No flaws.
It was Sirius's turn, and he really wasn't having much fun with his godson.

"No, Harry. Put it down." Sirius said sternly. "Ow, not the hair. Not my bloody hair!"
Harry only giggled, and pulled his hair harder.
"For the love of Merlin, Remus, hurry up!" Sirius silently begged.
Sirius managed to release his hair from Harry's grip, and placed him in his toy corner. All hard, plastic toys had been removed so heads can remain unbruised.
A few minutes later, Harry had started dozing off, and Sirius took him out his corner and cuddled him so Harry could fall asleep quicker.
It wasn't long after Harry had fallen asleep, that there was a knock on the door. Sirius stood up and walked quickly to it, yanking the door open he saw Remus standing on the other side.
"Moony, thank god." Sirius sighed loudly, forgetting Harry was sleeping in his arms. His loud sigh had woken Harry up, and he started screaming.
"Here." Sirius said, holding Harry out. "You're it, good luck."
Before Remus could protest, Sirius pushed past him and ran out of sight. Harry was still screaming, so Remus closed the door to make him be quiet.

"Come on, you can do better than that!" Sirius yelled, his voice echoing around the cavernous room. The second jet of light hit him squarely on the chest. His laughter had not quite died from his face, but his eyes widened in shock.
It seemed to take Sirius an age to fall: his body curved in a graceful arc as he sank backwards through the ragged veil hanging from the arch.
As he fell, Sirius saw the look of horror dawning on Harry's face as he fell through the ancient doorway and disappeared behind the veil, which fluttered for a moment as though in a high wind, then fell back into place.
But he wasn't completely gone, not yet, he could still see, and still hear what was happening.
"SIRIUS!" He heard Harry yelling. "SIRIUS!"
Harry had reached the floor, his breath coming in searing gasps. Sirius hasn't emerged yet, and he wasn't going to. Sirius would never keep Harry waiting this long. But as he reached the ground and sprinted towards the dais, Lupin grabbed Harry around the chest, holding him back.
"There's nothing you can do, Harry -" Lupin yelled.
"Get him, save him, he's only just gone through!"
"- it's too late, Harry."
"We can still reach him - " Harry struggled hard and viciously, but Lupin would not let go . . .
"You're it Moony." Sirius whispered sadly, watching the heart tearing scene from behind the veil.
"There's nothing you can do, Harry . . . nothing . . . he's gone." Lupin sniffed.
"Good luck."
