Teddy Lupin
It was the beginning of third year. Teddy grew more and more attached to the school. He visited the memorial for those who fell during the Second Wizard War practically everyday. Headmistress McGonagall talked to him often about his parents. He looked exactly like his dad did, but with his mums clumsiness and her Metamorphmagus ability.
One night, he couldn't sleep. He was wondering around the dungeons, he liked it there. Quiet, cold, easy place to think. He had been there for three years and yet he had never been down the corridor that faced him. He walked down the corridor, taking in every detail, every sound. And then he noticed it, a small wooden door, big enough for a dog to fit through.
"Good thing I'm small." He whispered to himself. He got on all fours and wiggled uncomfortably through the door. On the other side was a big mirror. As he walked towards it, he saw not only himself, but a slender women with bubblegum pink hair, and a tall scarred man. The man smiled welcomely and the women waved wildly. Teddy started to laugh, tears of happiness started to form in his eyes.
"Hi mum. Dad." He laughed, sniffing.
But the happiness soon faded. His mum and dad, the ones who died here, the ones who fought for his future. He slumped onto the floor and stared at the mirror in awe. The man seemed to sense his sadness and he crouched down to Teddy's level, and placed a hand on the mirror. Teddy crawled forward and placed his hand over his dads. His mum joined them and smiled reassuringly. Tears spilled over and ran down Teddy's face.
"Thank you." He sniffed, looking at both his parents.
