"Sirius stop already." Remus pleaded.

Sirius had his wand pointed at Snape who was dangling upside down, his pants off, nobody there to hell him. James was off with Lily, and Peter was cheering Sirius half-heartedly. A crowd had also formed around them.

"No! He deserves it!" Sirius snarled over his shoulder, eyes flashing dangerously.

Remus sighed, whipping out his wand and aimed it at Sirius. But Sirius didn't notice, he was too busy hexing Snape.

"Sirius, don't make me hex you." Remus sighed, he really didn't want to hex him, but if it came to it, he would. Sirius glanced at him with a smirk. But the seriousness in Remus's eyes surprised him. Sighing, he stopped the curse on Snape and turned to Remus, but not before he sent Snape flying into a tree, knocking him out. Sirius turned round to Remus and smiled sarcastically before storming off, hexing anyone who blocked his exit. Remus sighed. He waited a few moments before chasing after him.

"For the love of Merlin Sirius where are you?" Remus asked himself. He'd been looking for Sirius for almost an hour. And he hadn't seen any sign of him. Sighing with defeat, he trudged up to the dorm.

Remus collapsed onto his bed and sighed loudly.

"Oh Sirius." Remus sighed sadly, closing his eyes. A soft whine from underneath a nearby bed snapped his eyes wide open. He looked over and saw a black dog staring at him.

"Sirius! There you are. I was worried." Remus cried, jumping off on his bed.

"I just needed to calm down. You know my temper better than anyone and I didn't want to lash out at you." Sirius said once he was back in his human form.

"It's ok. I forgive you." Remus said happily, but Sirius's kind look turned into a glare.

"You forgive me? For what?"

"I thought you were apologizing for running off." Remus replied

"Why would I apologize?" Sirius cried

"I dunno I just tho-"

"Typical." Sirius scoffed. "You know I'm sick of saying sorry when I'm not. I ran off to protect you and you want me to apologize?"

"I'm sorry Sirius. I just assumed." Remus said quietly, avoiding Sirius's eyes. Guilt bubbled up inside him. He ran his hands through his hair and sighed.

"Look Remus I'm sorry for snapping." Sirius groaned. "It's just this week has been really hard and stressful and I needed a way to let it out."

"It's fine." Remus replied, cheering up. Sirius smiled before hugging him tightly. "Just let it vent. I don't mind."

"We're going to be fine aren't we?" Sirius asked

Remus pulled back, grin upon his face. He wink before pressing his lips against Sirius's. Remus's finger twisted Sirius's long hair around themselves as they kissed slowly.

"I think we'll be just fine." Remus whispered, pressing their forehead's together lovingly. Sirius smiled before leaning down for another kiss.

It's fair to say that Sirius's life improved for the rest of that week. The whole of seventh year in fact. But life's problems outside the walls of Hogwarts couldn't just be solved by a kiss by the one he truly loved......
