James sat by himself in the corner of the fire lit common room, not talking to anyone. He was wearing his black PJ's. Remus did try to engage him in mischievous conversation before he had to go to the Shrieking Shack, but gave up when no words were returned.

"Come on James, it will be fun. He'll never want to shower again, not that he does that anyway." Sirius pleaded.

"I don't want to! Why don't you guys understand I don't want to talk right now, so just leave me alone. Accio Cloak!" James yelled.

His cloak flew into his hands as he stormed out the common room, many eyes where watching his dramatic exit.

"I guess it will just be me and you tonight then eh. I told Peter not to come along tonight." James heard Remus say as he had stormed out.

He stormed down the stairs, not caring that he could be heard by a passing teacher. His anger was rising, but he had no idea why, but he couldn't control it for the first time in a while.

After a while of storming down the quiet, dark, lonely corridors, he reached the Astronomy Tower. Pulling his cloak off he stared at the clear starry night. The full moon looked down on him. His thoughts turned to Remus, how could he deal with the change at every full moon. He should be there to help him but, his mind was to preoccupied. He would get distracted and something bad could happen. At least Sirius could help him that night. Sirius.....

The sun was peaking over the hills when he made it back to the common room. Remus and Sirius would be returning soon. James quickly and quietly ran up to his shared room to put his cloak under his bed, before he went back down stairs and sat on the armchair nearest the fireplace. He curled up, knowing that he would soon be woken up soon when others where going to classes and breakfast. He closed his eyes, and fell right asleep.

His sleep was dreamless, nothing knew. He woke up to find that everyone had gone to class, but hasn't woken him. Yawning, he trudged up the stairs to the room which he shared. He pulled off his black top and threw it in his neat bed.

"Look who finally woke up." A voice said behind him.

Startled, he whipped round to see Sirius standing by the door.

"What are you doing here? I thought you had class." James yelled, a little louder than he had intended.

"You know I don't have a class just now, my timetable is the same as yours and Lily's. You and Lily usually do something together." Sirius replied, noting that James outburst was accidental.

They stood in silence for a few seconds.

"What is up with you? You seem to be avoiding everyone, mostly me though. And every time you go off with Lily, you come back in a strange and quiet mood" Sirius asked, breaking the awkward silence.

"It's nothing, I just, need space." Replied James quietly.

"Space from what? You where fine until a few weeks ago. What is your problem, and don't say it's nothing because we both know there is something."pleaded Sirius.

"It's.....it's just that.....I can't tell you." James sighed.

"And why not," Sirius demanded " I want to help but I can't if you won't tell me."

"Ok you want the true?" Said James.

"That would be useful." Sirius replied, crossing his arms across his chest.

"Ok um. Close the door, I don't want anyone hearing." James said quickly.

James waited till Sirius closed the door before he began.

"Ok the thing is....uh..thingy thing thing is. Uh. I don't know how to say it." Sighed James,defeated.

"Write it down or something."

"Yeah ok. Close your eyes, it's a surprise."

James pretended to oped his trunk to find some parchment. He closed his trunk as he took out his cloak from under his bed.

"Open your eyes." James said as he threw his cloak over his half naked body.

Sirius opened his eyes to find that Janes had vanished, he looked around,confused.

"James, James where are you ?" Sirius asked.

There was no reply, no sound of movement. Suddenly a floor board creaked behind Sirius. Sirius jumped into the corner, so no unseen jokers could sneak up on him. His dark eyes scanned the room for the slightest hint of movement. Sweat started to roll down his cheek.

"Why am I being so worked up over nothing, James probably left." Sirius said out loud after a few frightening moments.

He wiped the swear of his face and walked towards the door. He was almost there when something tripped him up. He fell hard onto the floor, grazing his nose and chin. He got up but was then pushed again onto the nearest bed. He has just sat up when he saw James's head appeared very close to his frightened face.

"What are you playing at James?" Panted Sirius, who was a little scared.

James didn't answer, he just leaned down and kissed Sirius on his soft lips.bSirius didn't reject him as James first thought, but he welcomed the kiss as if he had wanted it to happen.

"You couldn't have just told me?" Sirius said as they separated

"I tried, but my nerves got the better of me." James replied glumly

Sirius stood up and took James's cloak off to reveal the rest of his half naked friend. Smiling he took James into a tight hug.

"What was that for?" James asked

"It's a 'thank you' for the kiss I have waited so long for." Replied Sirius, smiling.

They stood in each other arms for a few minutes. Sirius released James and studied his ripped body.

"I forgot how ripped you where." Sirius said

James smiled as he leaned closer for another kiss. This time, it was more rough. Sirius'a hands tracing James abs while James laced his fingers through Sirius'a hair. The two boys were undisturbed for a while. They untangled themselves a few time so they could get their breath back, but they were mostly entwined in each other while their lips where locked in serious combat. Their chests pressed closed together.

"James are you rea-" said a familiar voice

James and Sirius's head snapped to the direction of the door. Lily stood in the doorway. Her skirt short and her hair down. She stopped as she saw the tangled boys.

"Uh hi Lily. Sirius was...upset so I was giving him a hug." James lied, his face turning red with embarrassment.

"With your shirt off, while using your lips and playing with his hair. Yeah, just giving him a hug that turned you on." Lily said, smirking

James looked down and saw that he was indeed, turned on. He grabbed a pillow and placed it over his crotch in the hope to hide it.

"Lily I'm sorry. We just got lost in a moment. Please don't hate us or be mad with us." Pleaded Sirius.

"I'm not mad nor do I hate you. I knew this was going to happen. James told me that he loved you Sirius, I'm fine with it. It's really cute actually." Lily replied happily

James and Sirius started to go even more red in the face. They soon turned so red that they could be mistaken for a Gryffindor flag.

"I'll leave you two to it." Lily said smiling happily as she backed out the door.

Sirius waited until the door was fully closed before he threw James and himself onto a bed, where they continued to show their emotions for each other for the rest of the morning. As afternoon came, they parted, so they would save some things do that very night.
