I Ask You To Be Mine
Ted Tonks stood by the alter, waiting for his very soon to be wife Andromeda Black to stand beside him. It was a very small occasion; both were still very young, Ted didn't have much family, and Andromeda's didn't want anything to do with her. But their friends were there, and that's what mattered.
A short while later, the door of the church opened. Ted turned to see Andromeda standing by the doors, her old family friend, Cyrus, that still liked her was linked arms with her. She looked beautiful; a long white dress down to her ankles, her hair ties up in a curly pony tail, little drops of glitter in her hair and on her arms. Ted's heart skipped a beat when their eyes met.
The ceremony passed by in a blur, but Andromeda never forgot Ted's Vows.
"With this hand," he had said, "I will lift your sorrows. Your cup will never empty, for I will be your wine. With this candle, I will light your way in darkness. With this ring, I ask you to be mine."

Andromeda jumped awake; she'd been dreaming about her wedding with Ted. She looked longingly at the empty space next to her on their bed, and she prayed silently to whoever or whatever would listen, that he'd be home soon for tea.
