Welcome to Fanfic's Hall of Fame, Bluerose156v2!!!

Bluerose156v2: What Fandoms and Fanfics mean to me is, in a sense, a community of which creates a story, after the initial story has been told. To be more specific, once a story has been told, doesn't mean that HAS to be the end! There's always in wait another story and chapter whether it be aftermath, current events, or even a starter to the main story line.

And with that story comes another character you fall in love with- even though they're not canon, if the writer plays their cards right, you can make it feel like the characters you conjure, are MEANT to be.

Bluerose156v2: I stumbled upon fanfiction through my friends in school. They were so great at portraying their minds, that I myself wanted to portray my own creative mind by creating a relatable character in a familiar world everyone loves.

That's the majority of it though- there's always a little slice of me that feels responsible for my journey as well because of my deep love for reading, and placing myself into those worlds to feel what the character feels, and see what they're seeing. It's a truly indescribable feeling unless you've been there.

Bluerose156v2: I do remember the very first fan of fanfiction I came across on Wattpad, actually. In fact, we were friends in High School, and I never knew he had an account till we exchanged them in Band Class (both of us played Clarinet). He was impressed by the stories I made, and reading some of his, I was equally as impressed.

Unfortunately though, we lost touch after he graduated, and back when I had my old account up (the one I have is what I call the sister account) my phone quit working.

Bluerose156v2: When you write a Fanfic, or ANY kind of story in this case, it's like you're traveling to a different, more simpler world. Unlike the complexity of the "Real World", these stories are ones you can shape, play, and bend to your mind's will alone given the tools you're handed.

Depending on how you're feeling can also influence the mood of the story in a way- for instance if you've had a good day with family and friends on a holiday outing, you may find a way to incorporate that happiness in a way that drives the plot. If you're having a gloomy day, however, placing a gloomy scene in the story can help alleviate stress, and be a healthy way to kind of communicate your feelings.

Bluerose156v2: My favorite part of being a writer for Fanfiction is DEFINITELY coming up with the characters (OCs as we would call them). You can basically mold a character to be a part of you in some way, while giving them their own qualities to be proud of. Like if you feel a certain way, you can make them feel the same; if you got a certain trait you're proud of personality wise, you might find a way to give a peice of that to your OC.

Remember though, that an OC can be anything! To me, personally, an OC is not meant to BE you, but an extension OF you. Not to mention, if the Fanfic is good enough, most original creators ACTUALLY take inspiration from the Fandom, which is pretty cool to say the least!

Bluerose156v2: What I believe is the future of Fanfiction is a generation of dreamers- dreamers that carry on what stories COULD'VE been should the original one not have ended. I take pride in being the generation that expands on what was considered "Finished", like the "What ifs" or "How abouts".

Bluerose156v2: I'm not sure if you mean in a Wattpad sense, or a real life sense, but my friends and family are my biggest supporters, and the best moral compasses and partners in crime I could ever wish to have. They all mean the world to me!
