So i watched or re-watched a short film on youtube called "Picture Day" and it inspired me for a roleplay.

I'd like to try something using on of my oc's with someone who would be a father figure to her or something like a big brother or sister. And they would find out how insecure my oc feels (and help them with it). And that all comes from her mother (or adoptive mother). Because looks were more important to her than anything else and she always was mean/insulting to her daughter about her looks. Not because she looked bad but because she didn't really feel the need to wear make-up, or pay attention to how she dresses or how her hair looks. And after a while,with all those negative things being said to her my oc's developed that insecurity thing where she couldn't step out of her house or whever she lives without having some make-up on and having great clothes and hairstyle. Then it got better but sometimes when she looks in the mirror or go in a place where a lot of people might see her that insecurity comes back and she still struggles with it in a way.
