I think I cried way too hard

(Spoilers for Ninjago S9 Ep 92 )

(Yes, I'm obsessed with that fandom. Fight me )

(Don't say I didn't warn you. )

So ever since I started watching S8 Of LEGO Ninjago. There was this character introduced which is the princess of the city itself. Jade Princess, Princess Harumi. I don't know why I got attached to her this much. She's literally the second antagonist in the whole S9 Resistance Filler Story. I would binge the episodes of S9 and get really hyped when a new one is coming out to the point where I sleep at 12AM and wake up at 7:30AM since the uploads of the episodes are usually at 9:30AM where I live. Now after the massive cliffhanger of Ep91, I was hyped to know what happens next. Though ep 92 would come out in 4 days. So I waited patiently for it to come out and here I am writing this whole chapter, still crying.

Yeah, you can guess by the picture why I'm crying. Harumi died when the collosi bumped into that building she was in. I know she was the bad guy, but that death scene made me brawl my eyes out and my parents looked at me like I was being over dramatic. But come on! A lot of people dislike Harumi for breaking Lloyd's heart though...I honestly didn't expect her to go down like this! I thought that she was gonna get stabbed by Garma- oh wait...that's too dark for a kid's show XD

That sad look she makes when she saw that kid almost get separated by his parents made my heart melt and throb. I'm glad that she redeemed herself and helped that kid and his parents get away in time. Atleast she died a hero...am I right?

She didn't want a child that young to live the same fate as her when he grows older. Harumi lived without her real parents to support her throughout her life and I don't blame her for wanting revenge on the ninja. It was Lloyd's fault that he unleashed the great devourer that day. Since he unleashed the sepentine and then so on so on...point is, Garmadon only stayed the great devourer to protect Lloyd. His son. I just wish that the paramedics that were helping Harumi would shut their mouths and help the poor child! If she didn't hear that Garmadon killed that vicious snake then maybe this could have all been avoided.

Unfortunately, when she guided the family to the stairwell, the entrance closed on her before she had the chance to escape with them. That little smile she gave when helping that family was more than enough to prove that even the greatest of vilains can change and that she was able to redeem herself. If hatred, vengeance and deception (ha, see what I did there? XD ) took over her entirely, then I can already see how this scene was gonna play out:

She would hear the kid's pleads to stay with his family though she would just brush it off and selfishly use the staircase herself and then the entrance would have closed off on the family. Which would have resulted in Harumi's exact fate. The kid would have gone through the elevator and the parents would be trapped on the current ground level they're in.

Now that the entrance was blocked, Harumi (Well if the writers wanted her character to live, they would have made her go down. But that scene was just to make a way to get rid of her) went upstairs and onto the rooftop. From there was her ultimate demise. Since the collosi knocked the low level of the building, causing the building Harumi was in to collapse back down. There wasn't anything in the bottom to hold her back up.

What's more heartbreaking is the fact that Lloyrumi has technically sunken. I really really shipped it and now that Rumi is gone well...looks like Lloyd has to find another person. I think that their relationship was never meant to last anyways since the writers didn't want the ultimate Green Ninja to get with a vilain. THOUGH GARMADON AND MISAKO GOT TOGET-

Ahem...I think this proves that I'm a diehard Lloyrumi fan. I get it that the writers want the image that Lloyd is only allowed to be surrounded with things that are positive, nice...not chaotic evil like Harumi. From her death scene, there was one last interaction between them, well not interaction...but more like a last eye-contact with eachother before her and the building fell. Lloyd's only words were: " Rumi..." ( When watching the episode for the first time, I thought he said "Harumi.." And my reaction was: " SHE IS LITERALLY DYING! YOU COULD HAVE SAID SOMETHING MORE SPECIAL- " but now rewatching it, he had to stay by Skylor due to the fact that Garmadon's powers could potentially kill her. )

I rewatched that scene many times and him saying her nickname just like that, torn my heart by shreds. It was very heart melting that the writers added that in.

That little scene where Garmadon notices Rumi on the rooftop of that building and him going: " My Child....". My heart has died at the point. I always thought that Garmadon didn't care for her at all since he literally choked her by force and almost killed her (S9 Ep88). Though in Ep91 he calls her his advisor and he is her adopted daughter of darkness after all in Ep90. It's weird to think that Lloyd and Rumi are siblings. (Well not by blood Ofcourse. )

What really ended the episode, was when Garmadon screamed in defeat, seeing his 'follower, daughter, advisor, loyal companion and not forgetting the fact that she resurrected him' died because of him. I don't even understand why the collosi was needed in the first place.

Conclusion: I always knew that Harumi was gonna die in the hands of Garmadon. I just didn't expect her to be ended like this. Looking at her character, she had so so so much potential and one of the characters with the most darkest backstories. I wanted her to get redeemed since everyone deserved a second chance.

We never know, she might actually survive that fall only with severe injuries...but I doubt it. Even though she's my favourite character and vilain, it's sad to say that she won't be returning.

RIP Harumi, you will be missed.

T-This is Bea...signing out.
