Well I know I just made a chapter yesterday and one earlier today but I just finished watching the finale for S9. Now I don't usually complain about endings but this one? Er...let's say that it was kind of a let down. Though this is just my opinion. I don't dislike the episode in general but I feel as if the writers could have improved a few things. Welp I guess this is a Bea review now. I don't do this since I get scared to get hate when it comes to criticm but here we go! 

1. The overall Lloyd/Wu vs Garmadon battle 

My problems with it: Well don't get me wrong, whenever Garmadon returns for another season, it's always up to either Wu or Lloyd to defeat him. But it's mostly Lloyd since I think the writers wanted it to be "emotional" in a way. Hence father vs son. I liked the fact that they added Wu along the battle, great touch. Though I just wished that everyone had a chance at the battle. For example, there should atleast be guards on Borg tower ready to defend their "emperor". That would give a chance to the other ninja to join in. But I get it that they're busy either evacuating the people or taking down the colossi. 

2. Harumi. 

My problems with it: Ok ok don't think that it's me complaining about her death again. I just finished the episode and I got over the fact that she's truly gone. But if she was still alive or if the ninja actually checked the place where the building was for any survivors, then they might have found Harumi. There was a 87% chance that she could still be alive due to her being on the rooftop. 

Alright, the death rant stops there and here I'm gonna explain what the real issue is. Killing off Harumi was one of the worst decisions made by the writers so far. I mean come on, she could have been useful for the final battle. When Wu and Lloyd came with the dragon, Garmadon instantly knew that they were coming yet Garmadon was ready for their attack. If Harumi was on their side, she could have showed them like a sort of secret passage way to sneak up  to Garmadon without alerting him of their presence. Yes, he could still sense him, but Lloyd can easily take advantage of that situation. 

3. Harumi and Lloyd teamwork.

This is something I would have liked to see. We all know that Lloyd's most vulnerable spot is when he doesn't have his powers and his weakness? Fighting his father. Now both of those aspects were combined in this episode. Lloyd just resisted his father the whole time, eventually leading to Garmadon's powers being lost. Now from S8, it is shown that Harumi is a terrific fighter. Looking back at her abilities from S8 (like when she was jumping from roof to roof without struggling unlike Lloyd and throwing a sword from a far away distance to save Lloyd from this vine monster ) her abilities to fight could have been very very useful during the battle and the fact that she's his "daughter". No way would Garmadon dare to hurt her right? And seeing that both his "kids" were attacking him would be heartbreaking. 

This concludes that Harumi could have been a distraction for Garmadon and Lloyd could have easily taken him down. 

4. Ultra Violet and Killow redemption? 

My problems with it: We all know Rumi got redeemed by sacrificing her life for that boy's family. She was the only S.O.G member (hence, she was the leader lol ) to have  a change of heart. So why couldn't Ultra and Killow do the same? We all know what happened to Mr. E. Isn't of focusing on trapping the others, why couldn't they help them? If they did, there might have been a 50% chance that Ultra doesn't get arrested in the end. Wait, speaking of S.O.G members, where the heck was Killow in the final episode? XD 

5. Garmadon going to jail. 

My problems with it: do I really need to explain why this is a problem? He may not have his powers but remember, Harumi summoned the oni part of him and according to the little Ying-Yang Oni and dragons symbol, I think Oni represents the black part which signifies Evil. He also has four arms. So I wouldn't be surprised if he somehow got out of prison. 

6. The ending. 

My problems with it: Seeing Lloyd without a loved one, made my heart break slightly. When they were on the stairs and it was the celebration. Jay had Nya, Zane had Pixal, Kai had Skylor, Cole didn't need a girl when he has cake but Lloyd? The only girl who he fell for was Rumi. We all know what happened to that girl. Though I'm just imagining it now, if Lloyd and Harumi were both alive, then it would have shown Harumi being on the stairs with them like Lloyd offering his hand to her. Being guilty about all this, she slowly makes her way up the stairs. Or she could have been arrested like the others.

So there you have it Bea review #1. Now I know this thing wasn't necessary at all but I feel as if I needed to rant/point these out. Who knows? If all these things were applied on the actual episode, who knows what could have been its outcome? Hm...that gives me an idea, what if I wrote a Alternative ending to Ep 94? It would be fun yeah, and I get to enjoy writing some Jaya, Kailor and Pixane fluff and Lloyrumi angst eventually leading to fluff. My favourite. 

So if I were to rate this whole entire Harumi arc (S8 and S9) here's what I would think: 

Season 8 Sons of Garmadon: 9/10 

Season 9 Hunted: 7/10
