I'm a Game of Thrones fan. I'm not really allowed to watch the show quite yet... But I CAN read the books. I'm almost done with the second one as of now.

So... Spoilers for book/season 1?

For Christmas, every year my brother and I get new calendars and this year, I recieved a Game of Thrones one. It's a thing in my family to look at the image/character on your birth month and... Well, idk why, it's a thing. Like, for example, my mom, the lucky woman, gets Brienne of Tarth as her character.

My birthday is in April (aka this month) and who did I get, you may be asking?

Petyr Baelish, aka Littlefinger.

I hate him almost as much as I hate Joffrey. He's slimy, and is one of the reasons that one of my favorite characters, Eddard "Ned" Stark is dead.

Rip Ned Stark, best father and most honorable man in the series.

Anyways, as you can imagine, I was kinda pissed that I got him on my birth month. Clearly the designer of the calendar has a thing against April. But I was still MAD. Especially since Tyrion was in March and Daenerys is in May, two of my favorites in the months around April.

I was contemplating what to do. Do I leave it and put up with it for a month? Or do I protest?

I chose the latter.

I pulled out a Sharpie and drew a mustache on him. But I wasn't quite satisfied...

It's kinda hard to see, but I gave him Mario's hat and drew Yoshi, a Goomba, a toadstool, and a Boo around him.

I laughed for like a solid 10 minutes and sent this pic to my parents.

They were proud of my idea and my art skills.

Now I can have the April calendar that I want and made myself.
