Okay, so I felt like re-watching the trailer again and I noticed a few things that I could make a few theories on (also so if any of them are true, I can say I called it with all y'all bearing witness)

Okay, first up:

(A wild Rey goes in for the kill against her unsuspecting prey: ship parts)

Anyways, my theory about this bit is that the shots with the ship are part of a vision Rey essentially falls into. The cut from the forest jump to the ship jump seems a *little* too clean. Besides, where would there be a ship like this? It looks like the ones she used to poke around on Jakku, maybe she's having a vision quest back there. Or maybe a bunch of locations that we've seen throughout the first two movies.

Okay, next we have this:

First off, I swear this scene might break me.

But that's not what I'm going for. Look closely...

The lightsaber hilt looks a bit different than the Legacy Saber's hilt. The black bits look thicker to me. Idk, maybe I'm reading too much into it, but it just looks off to me.

Okay, theory three:

These two shots I put in trailer order. But what I'm thinking is that they're actually in reverse order, like so:

What if Ben sees what's going on, and decides then and there to redeem himself. Or maybe it's not a one after the other sort of thing. What if Ben senses what's going on, then goes in for the kill. It could line up with this leaked image I talked about last chapter (again, be warned for potential spoilers):

Theory 4:

These shots come in the same scene (in this order):

Maybe Palpatine shows this potential 'future' to Rey during the first shot, and the second two are the vision itself. Whether or not it actually happens (me personally, I hope it's legit) remains to be seen.
