Okay, so my day started out mildly shitty because I had bad stomach cramps and little sleep and it was the first day back after Spring Break... so

Anyways, I finish my physics class and head to my drawing class, checking Tumblr as I do during passing because why not. And I see a gif set and I'm like "ha, that's a funny edit."

And then I see the tag

"Loki Trailer"

Cut to me trying to not go apeshit in class.

So, I log onto D+ and aaaaaaah, the landing page is ready!!! No longer a green wasteland:

And thus, I watch the trailer.

Now, let's do some analysis (this will be at least two, if not 3 parts because there is SO much to unpack)

We go from hexagons to circles. Anyways, Loki and I think a Minute Man (TVA task force what have you) arrive through a glowey gate thing in Loki's Avengers 1 look. What I find funny is what he says.

"I know what this place is."

Like, my dude, you know the shadowy time bureaucracy? Alright, I guess

Now, here Loki is brought into his Time Trial (Mobius in the back just sends me because he's like the chaperone to his kid that got arrested for vandalism or some stupid shit like that.

"The Time Keepers have built quite the circus. And I see the clowns are playing their parts to perfection."

We get it, this is reminding us of Joker.

Anyways, Loki gets in like at this queue of sorts with this other dude? Idk who yet

And only Loki could make that fugly jumpsuit look good.

Cut to Mobius and Loki at a table continuing the conversation.

"Big metaphor guy. I love it, it makes you sound super smart." Mobius comments. Man, just the way he says it is super funny.

"I am smart."

"I know."

Man, that's the first time someone has openly called Loki intelligent. My heart-

Now, Mobius presses this button and sends Loki downwards (probably a spliced together shot) into this tiny room with just a kitty

And this dude that startles Loki with his presence.

"Please sign here to verify this is everything you've ever said." The dude says. Man, if that's everything Loki has ever said, the stack should be like, 10x bigger.

"This is absurd!" Loki protests before the machine whirs and a new paper is added to the stack saying just that thing:

"Also sign this."

Anyways, cool Marvel logo!

It's Loki's cinematic universe now.

I guess here is Mobius sort of telling Loki what the TVA exactly does

"We protect the proper flow of time." And we see this little orange clock mascot thing

That's actually the TVA's little mascot, Miss Minute according to merch leaks.

"You picked up the Tesseract, breaking reality."

Aight, Mobius, my man, Loki was just doing a fight or flight instinct. You wanna pin the blame on someone, stick it to the Avengers. Anyways, it shows probably the TVA's perspective on the event, creating branch timelines willy nilly

"And I want you to help us fix it."

"Why me?"

"I need your unique Loki perspective."

The squad then goes through a portal thing on a mission.

"Do I get a weapon?" Loki asks.

"Nahh."

I can already tell I adore their dynamic.

Anyways, this portal takes us to a Renaissance Fair

Now, this was kind of teased as far back as the first Loki Trailer when the guards went into a tent and we could see people in Elizabethan garb in the background.

Now, then we return to the Roxxcart store from the first trailer and the return of the *butter knives*

You really believe we can trust this Loki Variant?" I believe Gugu Mbatha-Raw's character asks. Now, what this implies to me, doubled with the jacket is that Variant means the one type of Loki. Implying that there are other Loki's out there and the jacket just help the TVA identify their Loki specifically.

Then this cloaked figure absolutely WRECKS

And I'm like 99% sure that's Lady Loki.

"Luckily he believes in himself enough for the both of us." Mobius replies.

Loki? Self confidence? To quote Chris Hemsworth: "Since, uh, when?"

Then Loki punches the shit out of some dudes, sending one out the window with a wave and a "bye!"

Then more explosions, a time cop getting dragged through a portal:

Meanwhile, Loki's VO is starting with "It is adorable that you think you can manipulate me." As he steps through another portal. Then this:

Adjusting his tie.

Man there is so much in that shot we could dive into, but I personally find it cute. Or sarcastic. Idk yet.
