the worries of a past
"How do you do it? To be so confident and brave." They ask me.
I respond with nothing but silence.
I brush my hair as strips of it fall to my shoulders.
I'm nothing but human, but they see me as a god.
I'm covered by a mask, but don't see the many other layers of my coating. I hide my true self with the silks of confidence and bravery. And many other traits people wish to have.
But underneath it all is a bare body. The fear of failure and the truth of wanting to hide. The coward within us all.
"Give us a blessing my dear goddess!" They plead me.
If they knew the tears and dishonor I've brought before. The so called goddess inflicting pain on herself and others. How unbalanced I was before.
I tied my hair into a tight bun.
"Tikki spots on." I said with calm.
The magic twirling around me. Turning my old rags into a bright red material. I exhaled when the last gush of magic stopped.
Though all these fear in my interior I have to show none. Many can be a coward and show unbalance but one needs to be the leader. People can hide and shiver in the face of danger therefore the world needs hero's.
One's who give up the right of being humans and unbalanced to show the world hope. To bring people together and fight for the right of the world. One who gives up everything for the sake of others.
I went outside by the door at the back of my house. I jumped on top of a roof.
I ran through the roofs until I came to the people.
"Hello my lady." I turned my head slightly to see Chat Noir. The only other human I know of to give up everything.
"Hello Chat." I said standing up. The crowd of people cheered and smiled at the sight of me.
I waved at them bringing a smile upon my face.
"You were late." Chat said standing up as well. "So? It was only a couple of minutes." I respond jumping into the crowd of fans.
Chat followed behind.
All crying out for help and prayers.
Kids running up to me while the parents scared that I'll be offended.
A little kid got pushed over. She stayed on the ground sobbing quietly. I smiled putting her on my shoulders.
She gasped as the goddess picked her up. In the far view I saw what I suspect is her parents terrified.
"What's your name?" I ask the young child.
"A-Ah..." she mumbled. I smiled, "Nice to meet you Ah."
With being a hero you have to be kind. Even to the people who've wrong you. No matter the pain you have gone through you turn up with a smile.
You can't show no other emotions but strength.
I looked at the sun setting with the ocean in the view.
"It's beautiful isn't it." I turned to see Chat smiling at me. I smiled back looking at the view again.
"It is."
Chat said down next to me.
"You can talk me. Remember that I understand what you feel my lady." Chat said grabbing my hand.
"I just fear that might do something wrong Chat." I responded honestly.
"We all make a mistakes. If they can't understand we're just humans it isn't our fault. We just have to protect with all are will." I looked at him.
His eyes gleaming with the last sun of day.
"Thank you Chat."
He leaned forward and stop when our nose touched.
"No purr-oblem my lady." He whispered.
I placed my lips on his. The fear and worries disappearing like magic. Only love to show.
I pulled away and went back to looking at the sunset.
"So you kiss me and say nothing of it." Chat questioned my action.
"Yes."
"Heh alright then."
I glanced at him and smiled.
Hero's can love.
(A/N) Not that long but it's short and sweet. Also it's a past Ladybug not Marinette just saying. Anyways see ya kitties!
