All he wanted was a mother

Someone to mourn him while he was gone

All he got was a brother

Someone confident, brave and strong

He was innocence

He was hope

In that dark and deadly place

Most people did not see him

Without a smile on his face

He believed in Thomas, his brother

As he did up until his end

Chuck died protecting him

The friend that was like a brother

All innocence was lost

As the life drained out of his eyes

They left him there to rot

But his memory lives on

For the young boy that died there

Died in Thomas' arms.
