"Your highness! Prince Rafael has been sighted by the swamp and it seems like he's in danger!"

"Not again." She groaned, grabbing her crossbow.

Princess Jacquelyn aka Jackie, as she likes to be called, was known for being a hero. Some say it was absurd for a princess to be slaying dragons and taming trolls but she thought otherwise.

And that's why she was now running to Shadow Swamp, off to save probably the 10th prince this week.

Jackie arrived and was surprised to see a young man getting dragged into the swamp by an enormous snake looking creature.

She knew exactly what it was.

It was called a Typhon. A gargantuan beast with serpent limbs. It emits a cry that sounds like a drowning child to lure prey into the water, then plunges them into an aquatic grave.

It looks like this foolish Prince fell for it's trap.

Jacquelyn raised her crossbow and aimed at the creatures head. It let go of Rafael and slithered forward, daring the princess to try something.

"You can't kill me. Your ordinary weapon is no match for a powerful and indestructible creature like me. I will be the one killing you instead." The serpent hissed.

"Actually my crossbow was a gift from my grandfather. He was a dragon hunter and told me that these arrows could perish any living thing known to exist. I'm sure you've heard of it, it's called The Blacksnipe." She Smirked.

The creature was terrified.

"I-it can't be. Only the gods owned such a weapon!" The creature spat.

"Once again you are correct. They gave it to my grandfather to kill a very powerful dragon and now I'm going to use it to kill you." Jackie growled.

The arrow flew through the air and shot through the serpents skull, before it could lunge at her.

The princess watched as the creature sunk to the depths of the swamp, then ran over to the prince.

"Are you okay?" She asked , bending down to check for injuries. The prince shook his head. "No, it bit me." He whispered, showing her a bite mark on his arm.

Jacquelyn knew the snake like creature was venomous so she started to suck out the venom quickly before it could make it's way into the Prince's system.

"I owe you my life, my lady. Please tell me your name." The prince said as he was pulled up from the ground.

"My name is Princess Jacquelyn of Emeril but just call me Jackie." She answered

"Well....Jackie, I'm Prince Rafael. I dare say, are you some sort of warrior princess?" Rafael spluttered.

"I wish! I'm just a normal girl saving the day as usual." Jackie chuckled. "Well next time how about I save you?" The Prince laughed as they walked back to the castle.

"Nah I think it's time the Princess's save the day you know? Can't let the men have all the glory now can we."
