Taegi
Under The Rain
Kim Taehyung sighed, leaning against the school building as he stared at the passing cars impatiently.
"Tae? I thought you'd gone home already." Park Jimin exclaimed, walking out of the building and joining his best friend under the shelter.
"My driver must have gotten stuck in traffic, I think I'm just gonna walk home." Taehyung said. "Are you crazy?! It's raining cats and dogs bro, you're gonna get sick!"
"A little rain never hurt anyone." Taehyung teased, enjoying his best friends concern. "No no, I'll drive you home." Jimin shakes his head. "Chim, you have a date with Jungkook on the other side of town, my apartment is 10 minutes away. I'll be fine." The younger boy promises.
Jimin bites his lip, looking deep in thought and that's when Taehyung knew that using the 'boyfriend' card was a smart move.
"Fine but you're taking my umbrella and as soon as you get home, call me and let me know you're okay." Jimin reluctantly gives up, handing his best friend the umbrella.
"Yes mom." Taehyung rolls his eyes playfully, hugging the shorter boy whilst opening up the umbrella and making his way down the steps.
"Be careful!" Jimin yelled as Taehyung waved goodbye to him.
The rain had somehow gotten heavier, black clouds circling in the sky indicating that that the rain was only just the beginning. A full on storm was about to occur.
"I better get home fast." Taehyung mumbled to himself, holding the umbrella tightly as he walked faster down the street.
In less than 2 minutes, Taehyung could vaguely describe his apartment building in the distance. Before he could walk further, a gruff "watch where you're going!" made the boy come to a halt.
He looked around to see where the voice had come from. A cough made him look down immediately.
There sat a man (well not a man more like a boy, but with the facial hair, he did look a bit older than he seemed) sitting on the sidewalk with his head down. The boy had faded mint green hair that was now drenched, a withered black jacket and broken sandals. A half empty bottle of alcohol stood next to him.
Instantly, Taehyung knew who this was.
Min Yoongi, the town's "lowlife"
There was a lot of talk about this particular boy. Some say he ran away from home, others say he was involved in a gang. No one really knew the full story, all they knew was that this boy was trouble. That was enough for everyone to say far away from him.
Everyone except Taehyung apparently.
"I'm sorry, did I hurt you?" Taehyung asked gently, bending down so he could see the boy clearly. Yoongi looked up startled that someone had actually spoken to him.
"No, just leave me be." Yoongi grumbled, a hint of a slur dripping from his words. The rain continued to pour down. "Why are you sitting here in the rain, you're going to get sick." Taehyung stated, quoting his best friend.
"What's it to you? Just run along home Kim Taehyung, good boys like you shouldn't talk to people like me." Taehyung raised his eyebrow, "You know my name?"
The umbrella was now over both the boys, barely shielding them from the harsh weather.
"Who doesn't know your name. Kim Taehyung, son of Kim Ju-won, heir to the multi million dollar company, Kim Industries. Oh but that's not all folks! He's also the most famous model in Korea and has girls and boys falling at his feet every 10 seconds." The elder male mocks.
Taehyung's eyes widen. "I didn't realize people paid so much attention to me." He admitted. "Oh please, save it for your personal therapist. I have better things to do then listen to your life story." Yoongi says, taking a swing of the alcohol.
"Like what? Sit in the rain and drink your problems away?"
"Exactly."
Taehyung huffed, glancing back up at his apartment in the distance and made a decision.
"You're coming with me, let's go." He ordered. Yoongi stared at him before bursting out laughing. Taehyung ignored the funny feeling in his stomach as his face hardened with a stern expression.
"I'm not kidding, get up."
"What makes you think I-"
There was a sudden flash of lightning that made Yoongi jump. "My apartment is just 4 blocks away, I'm not letting you stay here and freeze yourself to death." The younger snapped, pulling the male forcefully to his feet and dragging him down the street.
"What the hell do you think you're doing!" Yoongi yelled, his legs wobbling as he tried to keep up with the boy that was basically kidnapping him. "Stop complaining and get inside."
They were outside Taehyung's building.
"You forgot my liquor." Yoongi snapped, still getting pulled my Taehyung into the building. "You won't be needing that anymore." Taehyung replied, sending the receptionist a small smile and she gawked at the boy he was holding.
The two entered the elevator.
"Of course you live in the penthouse." Yoongi chuckled dryly after Taehyung pressed the button. The latter didn't respond, only staring at the steel door in silence.
When the reached the top floor, Taehyung didn't bother pulling Yoongi with him this time, instead he just gestured for the other to follow him.
Yoongi trudged after him, utterly confused as to why a random stranger was bringing him into his apartment.
Wait.
A random stranger.
"Okay that's it, tell me what you want from me right now before I yell for help." The shorter male demanded as he watched Taehyung open his apartment door.
A hint of amusement twinkled in Taehyung's eyes before he spoke.
"I own this whole floor Min Yoongi, even if I was about to do something to you, no one would be able to hear your screams." Taehyung laughed. He walked towards the elder with a smirk.
"I mean that in two ways."
A blooming pink glowed against Yoongi's cheeks as he tried to stutter out a response.
"I'm just kidding, come in." Taehyung grinned, pulling his guest inside.
Yoongi would've scoffed if he hadn't been so amazed by the decor. The apartment was quite big for a single person but then again, he was Kim Taehyung. He could buy and sell him with a snap of his fingers.
"You know my name too." Yoongi said but it sounded more like a question. "Words goes around, just like how you heard of me." Taehyung replied with a shrug.
Yoongi was guided up the stairs before anymore words could be spoken.
"You're shivering, go have a shower and come downstairs when you're done. I'll leave some clothes for you on the bed." The younger announced, opening a door that was assumed to be one of the many guest bedrooms.
"Are you saying I stink?" Yoongi retorted irritatedly. The latter sighed.
"I just want to you to warm up and eat something. After that feel free to yell at me all you want okay? Do we have a deal?" Taehyung asked softly. Yoongi eyed him suspiciously before nodding.
Taehyung took that as his cue to leave, pointing to the en-suit bathroom before the elder could change his mind and making his way out the bedroom.
That's when Yoongi actually took a second to gather his thoughts and look around.
"Stupid rich idiot. Who does he think he is, Robin Hood? I don't need his help." The mint haired male grumbled under his breath, making his way into the bathroom and locking the door.
He'd never seen a bathroom this big.
Multiple items were on the counter but a particular one caught his eye. A razor.
"Wouldn't hurt to shave." Yoongi whispered, grabbing the blade before stepping into the much needed shower.
He'd never admit how much he enjoyed the feeling of hot water after so long.

"Can I actually trust this guy? What if he steals all my Gucci while I'm asleep? Oh god why did I-"
"Glad to know you think so highly of me."
Taehyung stopped setting the table and turned around to see an offended Yoongi glaring at him.
There was the feeling in his stomach again.
Suddenly Taehyung's phone started ringing, probably Jimin checking on him but his eyes were glued to the boy in front of him. Yoongi was cleanly shaven, standing at the bottom of the stairs in red silk pajamas with his arms crossed.
"Cute." Taehyung blurted.
"CUTE?!" Yoongi screeched, appalled by the choice of words. He was most certainly not cute.
"Um yeah, you look cute. Come sit, I made us Ramen since I can't really cook but if you want something else I could order-" Taehyung's rambling was cut off by the elder.
"Just shut up, I love ramen." Yoongi said with a small smile, sitting down opposite Taehyung at the table.
Taehyung beamed happily, striking a conversation with his guest and maybe, just maybe.....
Were they starting to become friends.
