First persons POV of Shannon1300

It's been a few years since high school. We've all gone our separate ways for our careers.

However, we always manage to come back together for special occasions and holidays.

This years special occasion, Santana is pregnant and Finn Hudson is not only the father, but her husband of two years.

We all decided to visit around the same time to see her. She had just gotten to the point where she found out the sex of the baby and you could start to feel the baby kick around.

She told us she was having a baby boy. Sometimes though, she would still get morning sickness, but that would be wearing off soon enough.

So here we are, Santana, Rachel, Finn, Kurt, Blaine, Puck and I. We are currently sitting in their den and talking to Santana about her plans with the future Hudson child.

Finn was in the kitchen cooking. " He is going to be the most beautiful baby boy ever." Says Rachel.

" I know. He's so amazing already. " says Santana looking down at her baby bump with a look of fondness.

" Betcha he will have Finn's big head. " says Puck.

" Noah, that's rude." Says Kurt.

" I didn't mean anything mean about it. It was a jab at Finn. " says Puck.

" Leave my best bud alone. He was just messing. " Says Finn Walking in with a plate of finished food for everyone to partake of.

As he set it down he looked at Santana. " Seriously though, he might have my big head." Says Finn.

Everyone burst out laughing. Santana was laughing too, that is until she smelt to food.

She turned green and practically fled out the room. She was up and gone so fast, everyone just sat there in shock for a second.

They everyone was on their feet and rushing where Santana ran off to.

She had run to the bathroom and was currently emptying the contents of her stomach into the porcelain bowl.

Rachel quickly got behind her and held her hair back for her. Santana was grateful for that.

Everyone had decided that they would all pitch in to help take care of the baby bearing friend.

Santana groan and lifted her head up. " Gosh, I hate being sick. " she mumbled angrily.

Finn got down by her. " Come on sweetie, let's get you to bed for some rest. I'll make you some plain eggs for you to settle your stomach. " Says Finn.

She simply nodded and smile at her husband as he helped her up and we left into the bed room.

I helped move the covers. " Thank you. " says Santana.

" Anytime San, we will always be here to take care of you. " I say.

She smiles. She lays back and suddenly jerks. " The babies kicking. " she says.

" Can we feel?" Asked Puck.

She nodded. We all one by one placed a hand on her stomach and got to feel the baby kick. It was a magical moment.

Puck smiled at his lifelong friend. " In all honesty though, this baby is going to be so beautiful. I can't wait to meet him. " says Puck.

We all grin at him being so sweet about the baby. All of us were practically in tears with this moment.

The phones were ringing over and over one day. I had been working on a project for my collage corse when I got the call from Kurt.

Santana was being rushed to the hospital. She was having her baby.

" I'll make my way there as soon as I can. " I say.

We hang up. I can't believe it. The moment is finally here. I sadly had to stay until I finished my project and turned it in.

The second I was done however, I was off to Lima Ohio. Back to my home town.

I made it there at five in the afternoon. Everyone was already there and Puck was waiting outside for me.

He led me up to the hospital room and there they were. Finn and Santana who both looked exhausted, but happier then they had ever been before.

A little bundle in Santana's arms caught my attention right away.

As I walked forward kirt asked a question. " What's the babies name?"

" We settled on Josey. " he looked at his wife. " Josey Hudson. " says Finn.

We talked for a long while. Just enjoying each other's company.

A few more days passed and we were now in Santana's home talking and enjoying ourselves.

Finally we got to enjoy holding the baby. One by one the baby was passed to each of us.

It was clear to see he had Santana's hair and Finns facial structure. He had her eyes and Finns nose.

He really was a beautiful child. Finally he let us know when he had enough. He started crying and we passed him back over to his mother, who took that chance to just hug him and kiss his face.

His crying changed from that to laughter as his mother cheered him up. Finn ran in soon with a bottle of formula.

She started to feed the baby and he just made the cutest little sucking sound as he drained the bottle.

Santana looked at us and smiled. " Thank you. Everyone, for all the help you gave me throughout my pregnancy. It means a lot to know I have such good friends. I love you guys. " says Santana.

" We love you too. " we all said.

With that we went on with the day. Santana and Finn now has their first child.

Everyone was slowly finding their own way of a family as life went off, but every time we need to remember where home and family is.

All we got to do is come back to Lima. To our home town, because that's where family will always be.
