First persons POV for Shannon1300

Kurt and Blaine are my best friends. Always have been and always will be.

Blaine has had a past with abuse in it. Verbal and sometimes physical. It was mostly from his older brother Cooper.

Thankfully he didn't come around often. Actually, in all the time I've known blain I have never met Cooper in person.

Today was a different story. We were sitting in the choir room going over dances for our song the three of us were going to do.

We were talking and laughing and just enjoying our time together. Finally it came time to leave.

The three of us got up and grabbed our stuff before walking out of the choir room. That's when we saw someone come around the corner.

It took us a second to realize who it was, but Blaine was way ahead of us. He dropped his bag and took off running down the hall to hide.

We take off after him, hoping that the guy Blaine ran from hadn't seen him. We didn't know the extent of what Blaine has been through with his brother. We just knew the basics.

We finally found Blaine near the locker room door. He was leaning against the locker breathing heavily from running and we were stunned and horrified when we saw he had tears rolling down his cheeks.

We walked up to him and Kurt hugger his boyfriend. " Blaine, sweetie, what's wrong?" Asks Kurt.

" That guy that came around the corner. That was my older brother, Cooper. " says Blaine.

At that we feel a surge of panic. " What has he done to you to make you so scared of him?" I ask.

He just lets out a small sob. " You Guys remember the reason why I don't like proms right? Why I'm scared of it?" He says. We nod in reply. He had been beat up for going with another guy.

" He was the one that organized that. The one who made me terrified to be at my old school. Made me terrified to be who I am. As it was happening, he took that time to tell me I was nothing to him, that o was just a mistake that this world has made. He said my parents would never love me. He said such horrible things. That's why I went to Dalton, I didn't have a choice. " says Blaine.

Before we could say anything to reassure him, Cooper came around the corner and an evil smirk came across his face. " There you are little bro, I've been looking for you. " he says.

Blaine just looks down, hoping  he could just disappear into the floor. Sadly he had no such luck.

Cooper laughed and it echoed down the hall. " Look at you. You can't even look at me. How pathetic is that.  It's just like I said a few years ago Blaine. Your nothing. That's all you are and that's all you will ever be. " says Cooper.

" Stop it!" Snapped Kurt.

His look darkened when he saw Kurt. " So you got a new boy toy now. Do I need to beat the crap out of you again to teach you otherwise?! I told you I don't like this kind of thing. I don't like him and this relationship you have. " snapped Cooper.

Kurt stood up and got in his face. " Stop it Cooper. The only reason you bully others is to get the attention no one else will give to you because your alone. Your nothing, but a bully. " Snapped Kurt.

Cooper snarled in anger and his hands balled into fists. He looked about ready to lunge at Kurt and start to beat him. Kurt's wasn't backing down though.

He was ready to defend his boyfriends honor anyway he could. Even if that meant getting hurt himself. He was ready.

Just as Cooper lunges forward he was tackled by Blaine. Blaine landed on him and reeled back with his fist. " GET AWAY FROM HIM!!" He yelled.

He went to punch, only for Cooper to grab his fist and twist it. He flipped Blaine over and reeled back himself.

He started to kind punch after punch. We tried running forward and grabbed Cooper to pull him off.

Nothing worked, all of a sudden Cooper landed a hard punch to Blaine jaw and Blaine's eyes rolled back and his entire body went limp.

Cooper saw this and stood up. " Maybe that'll teach him!" He then walked off like nothing happened.

Kurt's was crying by this time. He had his boyfriends head in his lap and was running his fingers through his hair.

A nasty purple bruise was forming on Blaine's jaw. A few other bruises appeared on his face. A hand print bruise was on his wrist.

We waited a little while for Blaine to wake up. When he did and he realized where he was and what has happened, the tears started again and he felt fear.

He shivered and looked at Kurt. " I don't understand. Why does my brother hate me so much? " Cried Blaine.

" He's an idiot. He doesn't know what's good for him. You're amazing Blaine. Your such a sweet person and your have such a big heart. It give you character. I don't know why anyone would hate you. He's an idiot. " says Kurt.

" He's right Blaine. We love you and nothing anyone will ever say will change our minds. " I say.

He seems to relax at this and calm down to the point where he's only sniffling. He runs over and outs his head on Kurt's chest to listen to his heartbeat.

" Can I stay with you tonight Kurt. If Cooper is home, I don't want to go home. " says Blaine.

Kurt smiles. " You never have to ask sweetie. " he then leans forward and kisses Blaine's forehead.

I smile at this. This may have started out awful, but these two sure know how to make the best of things.

That's what family does. I sure do love these two.
