This is a Leo x Reader Oneshot!!

"WHAT THE HADES, LEO?!?!"

You were just relaxing on the beach, trying to read your book, when a certain flamehead splashed water on you. Now your book was totally ruined. And yes, you care about the book more than yourself being soaked. You may not be a child of Athena, but you sure act like one.

It was just you and Leo at the lake. Everyone else was at lunch or the arena. So you thought it would be your perfect chance to get some quiet reading time, but you were greatly mistaken.

Leo always did something to annoy you. One time, he just went full on flaming right beside you, which made you jump so high and make a bunch of toilets explode nearby, all the water dousing out Leo's fire. Usually most of his pranks to annoy you or something weren't that bad, you always managed to get him back, but this was the last straw.

Oh, yeah. You forgotten to mention you are a child of Poseidon, so you're Percy's little sister. And you two are alike in many ways. You both have messy black hair and sea green eyes. You also are very sassy like your half-brother, but you can both be pretty stupid sometimes. You are also one of the best fighters along with your brother. You have two twin daggers made of Celestial Bronze, each with a sea green aquamarine gem on the hilt. Both of your daggers have a Greek inscription on the blade, which is Παλιρροϊκό κύμα, or Palirroïkó kýma, which means Tidal wave. But unlike your brother, you are not tall. You are pretty short, actually shorter than Leo. You also act like a child of Athena. You love to read and are very good with strategizing.

You glared at the Latino elf who was grinning, trying to hold back his laughter. His attempt to hold back laughing made you even more angry. How dare he laugh after he just splashes you and ruins your book, which was starting to get really good by the way!

"YOU THINK THAT'S FUNNY DO YOU??!?" You shrieked.

"Uh...duh!" Leo rolled his eyes while laughing.

You started steaming...until you had a perfect idea. Your whole body relaxed and a big, evil smirk grew on your face.

Leo's laughing started to cease when he saw the smirk. When you smirked like this, it only meant one thing.

"Oh, shit!" You here him mutter, right before you will the water to rise up, making a huge wall of water. You had a huge grin on your face, before releasing the water, watching it all splash on top of him.

Before, you got worried because you didn't see him come up. And you were starting to think you went to far and accidentally drowned him, but then you saw the familiar curly haired boy rise from the water, spluttering. At the sight of him, you let out a sigh of relief.

Honestly, just because he annoys you a lot, doesn't mean you want him dead. And besides...you may have a teeny, tiny crush on him. Ok...a big one, but what's the big deal? You doubt he even likes you back. He probably just thinks of you as a friend who he can annoy without them wanting to murder him.

"Geez, Y/N! You had to do it that big!?!" Leo exclaimed.

"Go big or go home!" You retorted, rolling your eyes. Leo just laughed as he swam back towards the shore. He ended up in the middle of the lake when you splashed him.

After two minutes you decided he was taking forever and willed the water to push him to the shore.

"Woah!!" Leo yelled as he gets pushed suddenly onto the shore, is face now in the sand.

You burst out into laughter, your arms wrapped around your stomach. Leo lifted himself up and glared at you, but you knew he was trying to hold back from laughing himself.

"Geez, that excited to see me?" He teased, which caused a light blush to creep up onto your face.

"Dream on, Repair boy." You rolled your eyes while giggling, hoping he didn't notice your blush.

Leo stood up, brushing the sand off of his chest. He really wasn't that muscular. He may have some in his arms from building things, but otherwise, he is just a skinny noodle elf.

Leo opened his mouth to say something, but was interrupted by your brother.

"Hey, Y/N! Time for the lesson!"

Lunch was already over? That felt quick. You turned and gave Leo an apologetic smile before walking towards person for the arena.

You sat quietly at the Poseidon table, eating your food. Percy was talking your ear off as you tried to read the book you had with you. It was another copy of the book you were reading earlier, until it got destroyed.

After ten minutes into dinner, you got frustrated.

"I'm going to go to the lake, see you later." You slammed your book shut, which made Percy go quiet. You got up, grabbing your book with you, and headed to the beach.

The beach is the only place you could get quiet time. The only place you can really think. It was your happy place. Being near the water always kept you calm, even just the sound of the waves.

You walked to the end of the dock, sticking your feet into the water. You set your book beside you and leaned back a bit, letting your arms support you, before closing your eyes. You breathed in the fresh, ocean air.

You sat there quietly for about five minutes before the sound of someone's footsteps interrupted your peace.

"So you managed to get another copy of the book, eh?"

"Obviously I did, Leo." You opened your eyes, turning your head to the Latino behind you, a playful smirk on your face.

Leo chuckled.

"Tell me how you are a child of Poseidon again." Leo sat beside me.

"Well. When a mommy and daddy love each other very much, they-"

"That's not what I meant!!" Leo shouted, face going red.

You laughed. You knew that would make him flustered. And you couldn't help but think he looks a bit cute when flustered.

All of a sudden, you were pushed into the water.

You screamed. It was so unexpected, you didn't have enough time to make sure you stayed dried, so now you are soaking wet.

"LEO!" You shrieked when you came to the surface.

Leo was laughing is butt off. His legs dangled from the edge of the dock and he was holding his stomach, trying to calm down.

You grabbed his foot, and pulled him in with you.

He made a sound that sounded like a yelp before he was plunged into the water. He spat out water when he came up, coughing a bit. You just laughed at the pouting look on his face. At least you were able to get revenge, like you always do.

"Not funny when it happens to you, huh?" You giggled.

Leo just pouted more, crossing his arms in the water. But you could see the small smile trying to make its way onto his lips.

Honestly, now you were having a lot of thoughts running through your head. All about Leo. Like how cute and hot he is right now; how you wish that he wasn't just your crush; that you could just kiss him-

You yelped in surprise. Leo was right in front of you now, his dark eyes staring deep into your green ones. His hand came up and brushed a piece of your hair out of your face, making you tense a bit. What the Hades was going on?

"You know you look really beautiful, right?" Leo said softly.

You parted your lips to say something, but nothing came out. You heard Leo chuckle lightly, before he started to lean down towards you.

You didn't know what you were doing, but you started to lift yourself up to meet him. Then your lips touched.

Your guys kiss was soft and gentle, not rushing or anything. You savoured every moment of the kiss.

But after a minute, you needed to breathe. You both broke away from each other, only moving away from each other barely.

"I like you, Y/N. Will you be my girlfriend?" Leo asked, a smirk on his face.

You nodded your head fast.

"Yes!" And you guys kissed again, just floating in the water. Everything else forgotten....

Until your brother came, of course.

"LEO VALDEZ! GET AWAY FROM MY SISTER NOW!"

You broke away, a sudden fear now in Leo's eyes.

"Well, I'll see you later. If I don't get killed, that is." Then he quickly climbed onto the dock and started running, Percy chasing after him.
