MadoKami VS Homucifer

Homura stared at MadoKami. They both just stared. The magical girls surrounding Madoka were worried, unknowing of what Homura was capable of. Creatures began to rise from the ground around a Homura.

The Clara Dolls.

Her guards also surrounded them. Homura's hellish kingdom was ready to die, and unlike the magical girls, more could arrive. No magical girl was becoming a witch, rather, all were given a day to rest, as the Incubators watched the two sides from afar.

"Madoka Kaname. Lovely day." Homura spoke, she had a relaxed yet cold tone. "Come with me, forget your duties, you aren't happy like this!" Her voice was raised, causing Madoka to take a step back, protecting the magical girls.

"I wanted to do this peacefully, but you give me no choice, Homura!" Madoka yelled back, taking what Homura said as threatening the girls.

The land filled with silence once again, only the sound of whispers. Suddenly, Homura pulls out a gun and points it to Madoka's soul gems. "Madoka look out!" A girl screamed, slightly shoving Madoka out of the way, taking the bullet to her shoulder. "THIS IS YOUR LAST CHANCE!" Homura screamed, two girls carried off the one who got shot.

Madoka pulled out her bow and quickly took aim, and shot Homura. Homura dodges the arrow, before flying into the air and pulling out her bow and arrow. Madoka took this as an act of war, and commanded the rest of the magical girls to fight Homura's familiars as she deals with Homura herself.

The two began to shoot at one another, slightly missing every time. The two flew higher, and higher, Heaven wasn't below their feet and if a mortal were to fall from this height they'd surely be dead.

Past the clouds, ground no longer in sight, the arrows continued to whirl past the two gods. Eventually, an arrow hit Homura, causing Homura to retaliate and shoot Madoka in the shoulder. The arrow hit Homura's leg, but she quickly kicked it off, aiming Madoka's soul gem.

Madoka then swiftly shot Homura in the chest, causing Homura to lose her balance with her wings and begin to fall to her so-called death, while Madoka followed. Homura pulled out a gun and began to shoot at the sky, in utter agony from what hit her in the chest.

The bullets hit Madoka and caused her pain, yet she didn't care. Just before Homura hit the ground, she got her balance again, rolling over and flapping once, causing the impact to lessen.

As soon as Homura hit the ground, her guard familiars surrounded her, protecting her from the Magical girl's as she pulled the arrow out of her body. The magical girls began to run to Homura, but the familiars began to pull them back, more familiars appearing around Homura, determined to protect her.

Madoka reached the ground, taking a safe landing and drawing back her strongest arrow to hit the recovering Homura. As soon as Madoka released the arrow on to Homura, she noticed. Homura didn't want to do this, but she stopped time. The arrow almost hitting her.

She was going to be honest, she didn't want to fight her best friend, but of course, Madoka doesn't know the bond. Homura pulled out a gun, and began to shoot at places on Madoka's body. Her final bullet was aimed for her soul gem. Homura stares for a moment, before drawing back, and just aiming for below. Homura moves away from the direction the arrow is going, and time starts again.

The arrow hits the ground and explodes. The bullets hit Madoka, and she yells in pain, shooting a shaky yet equally as strong arrow at Homura, this time hitting.

Homura was sent flying back, but one last shoot could be hit on Madoka. Her head.

Homura embraced death now, letting go of the gun so it could go flying. She closed her eyes, and as soon as she hit the ground her emotions flooded in. She was no longer in the war zone, rather a place of peace. It was called the Null Zone. Nothing was there, just darkness with a few stars shining through. Homura sat there, hugging herself.

She was in the right, she told herself. She tried so desperately to believe this was helping Madoka, but it wasn't...

... it wasn't...

Homura began to lightly cry. It was a mistake to come back. She should've given up a long time ago...

...

Madoka found herself in the Null Zone as well. She heard the soft weeping of Homura and went to investigate. Her steps echoed through the void. Homura looked up. "Go away." She demanded coldly. Madoka stood her ground. They were no longer in their god form, rather in their normal form. Madoka wore a white lace dress, and Homura wore the dress that she wore before becoming a witch.

"Please Homura..." Madoka mumbled, approaching closer. "You don't understand." Homura spat. Looking to the side, "Do you know how long I spent trying to keep you safe?! Years..."

Madoka stood in silence. "Hell... I can't protect you even now... you living and breathing isn't enough for me. I want you to be safe... and... happy.." Homura whispered before going to cry again. Madoka understood more now. She walked closer to Homura, and pulled her into a hug. She lightly pet Homura's hair, as Homura began to sob on Madoka's shoulder. "Why did you never listen to me? I care about you... I don't want you to do this to yourself..." Homura cried, hugging Madoka back, clutching into her dress.

"I didn't feel as if I was special..." Madoka mumbled, looking off to the side. "You're the most important thing in the world to me, you are my world, and that's why..." Homura began, choking up sobs.

"That's why I love you..."

Madoka gasped slightly in shock, before pulling Homura closer. She realized she didn't know the half of the pain Homura felt through those painful years. "Why would you fall in love with someone like me?!" Madoka asked, in complete shock.

"How could I not?" Homura replied, a burst of pained laughter escaped her mouth, "You're beautiful, brave, talented, strong, you're perfect. Perfect to me."

The two sat in the Null Zone for what felt like an eternity, before Homura got off Madoka, and the two returned to their godly bodies.

The familiars disappeared, and Madoka walked out, alive. "GODOKA!" The girls screamed in joy, running towards her so they could hug her. Madoka embraced as many as she could, hugging them all.

Homura walked out of the dust around them, causing the girls to get defensive and protect Madoka. Homura understood their panic but hoped that Madoka would put them at ease- to which she did.

"Calm down... we worked through some things..." Madoka assured, walking up to Homura, and hugging her again. She mumbled an "I'm so sorry..." again, and turned to the girls

Madoka explain she worked through some things with Homura, and she was going to help maintain the balance of the world.

And she did.

While Madoka saved the Magical girls from their despair, Homura created stronger wraiths for the girls to fight. Things were in balance. Madoka was happier now, Homura had her safe.

Eventually, Kyoko and Mami joined the four, making the Holy Quartet- or the four council members. Sayaka, Kyoko, Mami, And Nagisa.

Now, this... was their perfectly happy ending.
