It has ended and somehow began once again (MadoHomu)

She found out.

Homura knew this time would come soon, it was inevitable. The unstable happiness she laid out was bound to break, the balance as thin as glass and she had been standing on it. The glass eventually shattered beneath her.

Why so soon though?

"Why didn't you tell me about this?!" Madoka screamed, keeping her distance from Homura. Truthfully, Madoka didn't know the details.

All she knew is that she was a goddess. An actual goddess, and the only person who knew this was Homura. She also knew Homura was the reason she wasn't in her goddess form any longer.

"I did say I knew things about you that I said I couldn't tell you," Homura states, she was holding herself together surprisingly well. She and Madoka have gotten into fights before, but none have been as serious as this.

"I thought it was something embarrassing, and you didn't want to tell me so I don't get embarrassed, but when it's something THIS BIG, I'd expect you to tell me something like this!" Madoka yelled, she was confused, memories slipped in now and then.

Homura sighed sadly, "I said I couldn't tell you, and you were fine with that. If I told you, do you seriously think you'd believe me?" She replied, Madoka was horrified over how calm she was acting, but at the same time she was right. If your girlfriend came up to you and told you that you were an actual goddess, and she was the reason you weren't anymore, would you believe her? "You have a point." Madoka states coldly, "Still, if I'm a goddess and you ripped me from my body... what does that make you?"

Homura looked Madoka in the eyes. Homura's eyes expressed pain, but it has hardly noticeable. "The devil I guess."

"You GUESS?! Why did you do it! I know I knew you in a past life, but why?!" Madoka yelled again. "I'm not sure of it myself. I knew this time would come soon..." Homura mumbled, Madoka listened closely, she was calming down, but was still pissed.

"Can you grab my hand, Madoka?" Homura asked, holding out her hand. Madoka looked at it in disgust, "Why!?"

"I need to show you something," Homura responds, her voice trembling slightly. Madoka took Homura's hand, and the two transported into Null Space.

"What is this place?" Madoka questioned. Homura let go of her hand, the first thing Madoka noticed was the reflective floor, and the trippy yet galaxy vibe. "Come with me." Homura just says that's when Madoka noticed Homura was wearing something different. She had feathered wings, a large dark red bow, and her outfit was very showing, it's end resembled feathers.

"Is that your demon form?" Madoka wonders aloud, Homura just responded with a hum. Madoka followed Homura over to a place, it was beautiful.

It was nature-filled, and once she got close she noticed the surrounding area seemed like dusk. The two walks past a golden gate, it hasn't been used in a while telling by the vines closing it shut permanently.

Homura stopped in front of a bed. Around the bed were Clara Dolls, Madoka vividly remembered them. Madoka looked at the person inside of the bed.

It was her.

Her goddess form.

"When I separated you from your other body, your goddess body began to sleep forever. I had the Clara Dolls take care of it, I even brought a bed up so when you regained your memories you'd be comfortable once you returned."

Madoka looked up at Homura, she hasn't seen her cry in a long time. Homura went silent and turned to leave. Madoka starred as Homura left until she had completely vanished from Madoka's vision. Madoka looked back at her body. She attempted to touch it, but one of the Clara Dolls grabbed her hand. Madoka looked at it, it seemed as if it was Homura's subconscious begging her to not become a goddess.

Madoka frowned, she sat on the grass. The Clara Dolls didn't do any harm, they seemed to ignore Madoka for the most part. "Do I want to give this up?" She murmured to herself, "My life is great, I have a wife, we're planning on adopting a kid, I have my friends, Sayaka, Kyoko, and Mami. I don't want to lose that..." Madoka paused, "... But I'm a goddess... I have responsibilities that need to get done."

Madoka got up and began to walk over to her body. She slowly reached in to grab her body's hand, the Clara Dolls just watched, knowing she thought out this decision.

Madoka touched her body, it was warm, and she clasped her hand into her body. The place began to shake, the reflective floor that was on the outside of the silver garden shattered. Madoka felt herself begin to return to her body.

Homura saw the floor shattering. She sighed, knowing that was going to happen. All this hard work was for only 9 years of happiness with Madoka.

...

..

.

..

...

Homura awoke again, she was still a demon. She looked beside her, and Madoka wasn't there. Go figure. Homura knew it wasn't a dream, she never slept in this room. She walked up the steps and saw Madoka laying in her bed, asleep in a different position. She had her soul gems on her chest. Madoka was no longer human.

Homura sat on the white ruffled bedsheets and watched Madoka sleep. She felt something wet run down her face.

And another wet drop fell down her face, and it was followed by thousands of them. Homura hasn't sobbed this hard in years. All her work was gone to nothing. Homura knew that time had begun for humans, and she couldn't stop that. It was Madoka's decision but it pained her greatly.

"Homura-chan?" A soft voice mumbled, Homura looked down to see Madoka waking up slowly. "What's wrong...?"

Homura tried to speak but interrupted herself with more and more tears. She hiccuped and felt a pair of arms wrap around her waist. "All my hard work... wasted!" Homura cried out, turning around and gripping onto Madoka. "All I wanted to do was protect you so you could live a happy human life, it didn't matter if it was with me or not! I didn't want you to make yourself miserable by doing this to yourself. What about the child we were going to adopt?!"

Madoka hushed her, her hands running through Homura's soft black hair slowly, Madoka's fingers intertwined with the strands, and once through with the root, she went on to the next chunk. Homura calmed down, now crying silently as Madoka pet her.

"Time has just started. We have just been reborn. Homura, please... I'm so sorry..." Madoka murmured, Homura snuggled into Madoka's chest, and Madoka put her head on top of Homura's. "There's nothing we can do now. I'm still very angry with you, don't get me wrong," Madoka hushed Homura even more, who began to calm down and pull herself back together with the thin woven strands that she always has used. "but at least we both aren't alone anymore..."

It went silent, the only sound was a slight hiccup from Homura, but she calmed down. "I see. This universe is a combination of the ones we created, in my universe, magical girls turned into witches, well more accurately they died and their soul gem let out a personification of their hate, but they got to come here, and be taken by my Clara Dolls to your heaven."

"But here, magical girls simply disappear, wraiths are back again, and so are witches. Witches are rare, they are what happens when a wraith kills a magical girl, a wraith consumes a grief seed, or when five wraiths amalgamate into one. Less cruel, more efficient. You're more merciful." Homura explains, shielding her vulnerability with a tough persona once again.

Madoka sighed and smiled sheepishly. She still loved Homura, she was just pissed at her.

"So, how long until the first magical girl is created?" Homura asked, looking at the bare bones of a haven. "Not sure, but until then we need to make this place more... holy!" Madoka cheered. She began to create things ever so delicately, letting flowers bloom and rivers sparkle. She created a small pathway around the garden, and a small hut for the first few magical girls to rest in. "Perfect for a few magical girls. I blocked the rest of the place off with trees, we can work on them later." Madoka states, looking at her creation.

"It's beautiful babe, but if we need to make this perfect, well I got your back." Homura clapped her hands together, Clara Dolls appeared along with blue-spotted hands. "Homura! No familiars here!" Madoka yelled, the other just shrugged. "I was able to create a large city in a matter of a few mental days using them, it's efficient."

Homura watched as her familiars began to delicately place things down, it was organized, Madoka could give her that. Homura mainly decorated the place beyond the trees, creating a fun place for magical girls to hang out. "Hm..." Homura mumbled to herself, "There's terrible magical girls in this world you know, Corbeau, Alina Gray, Kuro, Kyu B.- they all don't deserve such a place." "What do you mean?"

"I mean..." Homura begins, transporting them to a place and Homura filled it with destruction and misery. "This is the fun bit people get to experience if they like."

Homura took Madoka to a white room, "And this is the torture room!" "Why is it the torture room?" "It locks a target in once place, and they begin to relive their life like mine until they can't take it anymore and become a witch trapped in their soul gem forever until they've redeemed themselves, then I allow you to come and save them, but you know." The demon explained, the goddess gasped, "Homu how could you?!"

"Have you seen the shit some of these people have pulled? They aren't heroes."

Homura sighed, "I'll just be waiting until the first magical girl, call me when it happens babe, I'll be in my room until then." The demon kissed her goddess on the cheek, the goddess shoved her back and crossed her arms angerly. "Ah, you're still mad at me. I'll give you time to cool off then hon." "Stop giving me pet names, I'm mad at you," Madoka mumbled childishly. Homura nodded, and went to her room.

Madoka was a goddess again

Homura was still a demon

The two could be together

For eternity,

But this time Madoka wouldn't be alone

Not anymore

Never again.
