Liv x Apollo

Liv was rather disappointed with her boyfriend Apollo.

It was midnight, and he hadn't taken her on a date yet.

It was Valentine's Day.

Liv was expecting something grand and god-worthy.

Because Apollo, as stupid as he is, is a god.

Yet, there was no date. Liv sighed, tiredly and disappointedly.

She decided it was around time she went to bed, so she did.

She did not expect the Sun God to wake her up at 2am.

"Liiiiiiiiv," Apollo prodded and poked her shoulder. "Liiiiiiiiv."

Liv responded by snapping awake and punching him in the face.

"Ow! My face!" He cried.

"Apollo? What the hell are you doing here at..." She checked the time, sleepily, "2am?!"

"I'm here to take you on a date!" He beamed, cheekily.

"Apollo it's 2am."

"So?"

"It's too early for a date."

"No it's not."

"Yes it is."

"No it's not."

"Yes it is."

"No it's not."

"Yes it is."

"No it's not."

"Yes it is!"

"No its noooooot." He grabbed Liv and dragged her out of bed and into the sun chariot.

"I'm still in my PJs!" Liv protested.

"So? You're still beautiful." Apollo winked, and Liv rolled her eyes.

"I know that."

"Good." He grinned as the chariot starting flying.

"So where are we going?" She yawned, hiding her fear of the height they were at.

"Here." He replied. When Liv just looked at him, he sighed.

"The date is the chariot. I'm going to fly us around the world and you can watch the beautiful sights of the city." Apollo smiled, clearly proud of himself for the idea.

When Liv didn't say anything, he looked over his shoulder. Liv had fallen asleep.

"Liv," he shook her shoulder, "LIIIIIIV."

Liv groaned, tiredly.

"Why do you keep falling asleep?" Apollo asked with a whine, not understanding.

"Even the most fabulous human needs sleep Apollo." Liv yawned.

"Sleep is for the weak." Apollo declared and Liv raised an eyebrow. "You've been spending too much time with Dani."

Apollo looked confused. "She's my daughter." He blinked.

"Well I know that, it's- nevermind I'm too tired to argue." Liv started to explain before cutting herself off with a yawn.

"Geez, humans are complicated," Apollo shook his head before going back to driving the sun.

Liv yawned again, because she'd only been asleep two hours and was already craving to go back to her warm bed at camp.

"Liiiiiiiv," Apollo poked her cheek. "You with me?"

"Obviously," Liv said, tiredly.

"Good."

"Now what were you saying about our date?" Liv asked again, still uncomfortable with how high up they were.

"We're going to to fly over cities for a few hours, and you can see dawn grow on all of them." Apollo grinned, clearly proud of his idea.

Liv gulped nervously and her hands started shaking.

Liv was terrified of heights.

She could survive five or ten minutes, but hours? She had to get down, now.

"Uh, Apollo can we just go back?" She asked, nervously.

"Why?" He questioned, oblivious to her fear, "we're just reaching the max height."

"Because I hate heights." She whispered.

"What?"

"BecaUSE I HATE HEIGHTS!" She yelled and her eyes darted around, scared.

"Oh." Apollo bit his lip. "Liv, I didn't know. Why did you tell me?"

"It's kinda embarrassing," she mumbled, "dating the god of the sun when you're scared of heights."

"Aw Liv, you could've just told me." Apollo smiled sadly.

"Come to think of it, you never did come near the chariot before today." Apollo figured.

"Yeah..."

Liv felt Apollo sit down next to her. "Come on, look down," he pleaded. "You're safe, I promise."

Liv yawned and looked over the edge of the chariot. The view was definitely breathtaking.

The soft glows of light from the chariot sparkled onto the city, giving it colour opposing the dark shades.

"It's really pretty," Liv admitted, finding herself more awake and slightly less frightened.

"Not as pretty as you are." Apollo winked.

Liv blushed and smiled, but tore her eyes off the city. "Can we just go back?" She asked quietly.

"Yeah," Apollo stood, "Yeah of course."

She felt the chariot turn and go the other way.

It was a few minutes when they landed. "Okay Liv, we're on solid ground." Apollo said and Liv gratefully accepted his hand to help her stand.

She hadn't noticed how bad she'd been shaking.

"I promise I'll make for this Liv." Apollo promised.

"It better be the best date yet." Liv smirked as she stepped onto the grass.

Apollo chuckled nervously, slightly terrified what would happen it he didn't live up to her expectations.

"I'm going to go attempt and get another hour or two of sleep. See you tomorrow Apollo." Liv waved.

"Wait tomorrow? Why?" Apollo asked, confused.

"For our date!" She smirked and vanished into her cabin, her brown hair flowing in the wind.

Apollo stood there, stunned. How was he supposed to think of the best date idea in a day?

"Aphrodite!" He shrieked and went up to Olympus to ask the Love God for help.

Meanwhile, on Olympus, Aphrodite laughed manically.

She had the perfect plan.
