Scar sat in her room, staring at the mirror. Her hair was tussled and dirty, her eyes red and puffy, her clothes singed and filthy.

     Don't know what's going on
     Don't know what went wrong
     Feels like a hundred years
     I still can't believe you're gone

She sat in silence, tears both new and old clinging to her face. Maniac had been part of her becoming, her childhood, her life.

     So I'll stay up all night
     With these bloodshot eyes
     While these walls surround me with the story of our life

Scar walked over to the mirror, rock in hand. She chucked it at the glass, shattering the surface of the glass. Shards flew across the room, some biting into her skin. She couldn't feel the pain, however. It all just seemed... dull to her.

Its been two weeks since Scar rid her body of Maniac, and she wasn't her bubbly self. Her anger rose, and everyone started to become... afraid of her. When they would train, she would get harsh and violent. She would go out at night, only to seemingly loose her mind, starting fights at the tap of a shoulder.

     Now things are coming clear

After three months, Scar was worse. Her skin became pale like a ghost, her hair and eyes lifeless and dull. She never spoke, never associated herself with anyone. The ninjas and the girls started to worry- Scar never secluded herself from others like this. Something was wrong.

One night, they trailed her. They followed Scar throughout the entire city, searching for the mysterious place she went every night. She entered a cabin in the woods, lit only by a fire place. She peered into the darkness at someone, the presence hidden by shadow.

"I miss you..." Scar said. "I miss the power. I miss the company."

"You had your chance. You picked him over me." A female voice spoke.

     First time you screamed at me
     I should have made you leave
     I should have known it could be so much better
     I hope you're missing me
     I hope I've made you see
     That I'm gone forever

"But I see my mistake! I love him, and I want to protect him, but I can't do it without you!" Scar cried, tears trailing down her face.

"Well too bad. You would be useless with me anyway. I can't make you powerful. You can't become powerful. You're weak. Useless. You will never protect those you love." The voice said.

     Now things are coming clear
     And I don't need you here
     And in this world around me
     I'm glad you disappeared

The female in the shadows disappeared into a cloud of darkness, the fire diminishing. Scar fell to her knees, sobbing. The ninjas and the girls ran in, Zane pulling her into a tight hug.

"Everything's okay Scar... everything is okay."
