PERSONALITY Jolene's a very kind person. She's generally soft spoken and sensitive and will probably cry if you give her a slightly dirty look. Unless you're Sammy, she's used to that bitch. She's incredibly helpful, and, if she trusts you that is, will probably do whatever you tell her to do. If Jolene isn't hiding behind a mask, she cannot handle confrontation.

BACKSTORY Jolene Isabella Kyle was born in god-knows-where to god-knows-who. Very shortly after her birth, when she was only about two days old, she was abandoned in a park in Gotham. But, thankfully, she was found by the Catwoman herself, Selina Kyle. While running from the police after escaping a heist, she found this little baby on a bench with nothing but a blanket. Sure, Selina lived a very dangerous lifestyle, she knew that, but, I mean, it's a completely helpless newborn, she couldn't just leave her there. So, Selina picked her up, took her home and named her Jolene Isabella Kyle.

Sammy did not approve.

So, Jolene grew up being bullied relentlessly by Sammy. Well, maybe not relentlessly, they were still siblings, even if not by blood, so there was still some love there, but yeah Sammy is a little bitch we've been over this. Whenever Sammy and Selina were out during very legal activities, Jolene was often babysat by Selina's friends, most often Ivy because Sammy and Marigold were good friends and by effect, so were Marigold and Jolene. So, you know, that was that. Sammy and Selina did their thing, Jolene did her thing and as she got a bit older, she would just kinda be left home alone as compared to being babysat.

And, then, when Jolene was eleven, Sammy went to go live with their dad, Bruce Wayne. So, Jolene's home became a bit more lonely, but also a little bit less mean. Then, roughly a month later, Selina talked to Jolene about taking on the mantle of Mouse, Catwoman's sidekick. That mantle had been Sammy's, but they lived with the big bat boy himself now, so, Jolene took it.

Like with Sammy, Selina tried to keep Jolene out of physical danger, but Jolene naturally did get hurt. Mostly bullet wounds and broken ribs, though she did fracture her wrist when she was twelve, so that was nice. Jolene felt more confident as Mouse, because, she's hiding under a mask and alias, and, sure, she's getting shot at, but Sammy's gone, the girl needs some excitement in her life.

When Jolene was thirteen, Sammy found out their actual father wasn't Bruce Wayne, but instead Marlin Blackwell. Afterwards, the two got into a fight, Sammy accusing Jolene of knowing, Jolene actually having no fucking clue. Three months later, Sammy broke Marlin out of prison and zip zap zopped to god knows where.

Afterwards, Jolene hung around Wayne Manor a bit more often, and got pretty close with some of them, namely Lottie, Kody and Missy and also she was the only one who knew about Harmonia's nightly Marigold Meetings™, so, I don't know, she probably used that to flex on Sammy like "ha, I knew before you >:)" quickly followed by "Sammy, just put the knife down-". Anyway, after a few months, Sammy came back. Jolene hadn't been at the manor at the time, but had gotten called by Lottie like "yo girl" and Jolene showed right up, leaving right in the middle of Mouse-ing.

So, that was fun. Life was normal (well, Jolene's definition of normal anyway), Jolene still came by the Manor here and there, her and Sammy were slowly but surely repairing their relationship. And then Sammy died.

Murdered by their own father.

Fucking fantastic. Jolene closed herself off, hid in her room, barely came out for several weeks, barely even spoke at all, not even to Selina, who was also feeling pretty shitty, I imagine. She did send Harmonia a letter of thanks though when she heard she'd killed Marlin.

Soon enough though, she returned to being Mouse, and forced herself to move on from Sammy. She stayed in contact with the bats and probably went with Lottie to commit arson at some points here and there and also supported Marigold and Harmonia and stood on standby or something along with several other batsiblings as Harmie told Bruce.

Two years after Sammy's death, Jolene was chilling at the apartment with her broken ass ribs, while Selina went and played tonsil hockey with Bruce. She heard a knock at the door, got up, looked out the peephole, and there was Marigold, Harmonia, and...Sammy?

"I'm sorry Sammy left. Uh, do you need help with anything around here? Or just some company? They're my sibling, too, y'know."

"A marigold necklace, huh? I have a friend named Marigold. You probably know her."

"Wait, you and Marigold kissed? Oh, that's amazing, Harmonia!"

"Wait, Lottie, what did you just say?"

"Mama, I have to go now! Uh- something important."

"Well, I will see you around Nighthawk."

"What did you just say?"

"Marlin shot Sammy? They're okay, though, right? They're not dead, I know you said they are, but, I mean, come on. They're too stubborn to die."

"Hey, Lottie!"

"I know I already said it in my letter, but, once again, Harmonia, thank you for killing Marlin."

"I know avenging Sammy won't bring them back, but, still thank you."

"Hey, Lottie? You know how you said you really wanted that book? And you know how I'm a thief and stuff?"
