When Makayla was on Neverland, she would enjoy her time having fun around the island, pranking people, messing around with a few other inhabitants on the island (mermaids and pixies), and stealing from pirates that tried to land on their shores. It was something that was natural for the girl. If it seemed like she shouldn't do it, Makayla would still do it alongside her friends. That all changed when she moved to Auradon for an education. She was still the same Makayla, but she started to take school seriously. Makayla became a model student who would be found in the library or outside at a picnic table, reading or doing her homework.
