Circe sees herself as a higher being (mainly because she is). She wants respect from everyone which is unrealistic. She is short-tempered which means the absolute worse for those facing her wrath. Circe can be very protective if you ever get the chance to get close enough to her. She will keep her promises and will die with them. Circe doesn't exactly understand certain people or their actions, so many times she can be seen confused with interacting with humans. Circe can be devious sometimes, and trick people into doing things she wants them to do. That is something she says that Greek lore got correctly when retelling the various tales of the gods and goddesses.

Background:
Circe is a goddess and sorceress born between Helios and Perse. For most of her life, she has lived far from the action, hearing gossip about the Winchester brothers and their various trifles and conquests. For some reason, the girl sparked interest when she learned that Kelly Kline was pregnant with the son of Lucifer. She wanted to protect the offspring for some reason. So, she intervened with the fight against Dagon and disappeared with both Kelly and Castiel. 

Circe helped Castiel take care of the pregnant Kelly Kline, and even promised the woman that she would protect her son Jack. Promised that the boy would grow up with a good life, make sure that there are good things in the world and that Dean and Sam wouldn't kill Jack after she died. goo
