Alina is a very outspoken girl. It doesn't matter who she is talking to or what they are talking about; this girl will speak her mind. She'll even talk back to this person (not her best move if it's a professor, especially if it's Snape). Alina can also be very defensive. In that case, she'll just constantly question the person to understand their choices and thoughts. It's rare that Alina shows emotions to some people. When she does, Alina will show that she does care for people (not just creatures) and there is a soft side for people that Alina has.

Background:
Both of Alina parents had magical blood, thus making Alina a pure-blood witch. When Alina was young, about five, Lucius Malfoy had killed her parents for twos reasons. The first being that Alina's parents were helping the Potter family. The second being that the Monks believed in a world where muggles and wizards could live together and be friends. Fall in love with each other. On the night of her parents death, Hagrid took in Alina as his own daughter (he and Alina's father were good friends when Walter attended Hogwarts). When Alina attended her first year of Hogwarts, she was sorted into Gryffindor, becoming good friends with Harry, Ron, and Hermione.

When Alina and Draco were thirteen, they had a little relationship with each other over the summer leading into their third year. They technically dated, but they never actually confirmed it. The relationship ended when they returned back to school due to their reputations. Draco felt bad when he saw how angry Alina got with him (the last straw for her being Buckbeak's execution) and he's been trying to get Alina back as his girlfriend ever since.
