Dean x Reader
Let's start off with a simple one. Supernatural style. Imagine Dean and Sam asking you to go on a case with them after you, a part time waitress part time hunter, whilst on your shift in a small diner beat a demon up and exorcise it.
It was a regular day. My boss made me wear the most ridiculously skimpy clothing he could in order to attract as many customers as possible to our small dinner on the edge of town. My dark chestnut hair tumbled down my neck and back in loose curls, just about covering the naked skin on my back revealed by the skimpy crop top I was made to wear. My high waisted skater skirt just about covered the top half of my thighs and sat comfortably on my bum. The stupidly tall heels I'd had to wear caused me to sway my hips that little bit more than I should, holding the stares of many lustful young men who'd found their way to the diner. Oh I forgot to mention one small detail about myself. I'm a Hunter. I travel from town to town working as a waitress in small town diners to disguise myself.
It had been a long day and I was fed up with everything, hoping that my shift would soon be over so I could finally get changed and hunt down the werewolf that had been roaming this town. I leant my back against the counter, staring at the clock. 24 minutes.
"Y/N those orders aren't gonna take themselves!" My boss shouted from the coffee machine. I sighed, grabbing my notepad and tray and strolling over to a table of empty glasses and plates, collecting them and taking them to the counter and unloading them into the sink. But something caught my attention.
"Dean, no. She's just a small town waitress don't drag her into this." One guy said. His hair was long and thick, stopping just by his chin. His eyes were a piercing blue and he wore a simple checked shirt. It seemed that he was researching something on his old and worn down laptop. I looked down quickly but carried on listening.
"Come on Sam can a guy not have fun every once in a while? Especially when he's gonna go to hell some time very soon." Going to hell? Sam...Dean...they weren't normal guys. They were the Winchesters. The most infamous and experienced guys of the 'hunting' world. I glanced up to see dean looking up at me, a goofy smile on his face and a ball point pen hanging from the grip of his teeth. They must've been here for the same case as me. I rolled my eyes at him, taking my notepad and pen and strutting over to a table of 4 young guys in their early 20's. They stared at me lustfully as my hips swayed towards them.
"Hi there. Can I take your order?" I say with fake happiness, a smile plastered onto my face. Three orders were taken and I awaited for the last guy to tell me his.
"I'll take the special and a side order of your number." He smirked at me and gave me a wink. I gave a ditsy smile and scribbled something on paper I knew he hoped to be my number considering the way he leaned in and stared, craving. I slid the piece of paper onto the table and smirked, giggling to myself. The paper read 'nice try sweet cheeks'. I turned to walk away only to be stopped by a firm grip on my wrist.
"Wait. Please may I have your number?" He asked again. God he really didn't get it did he.
"No. Now if you'd let me continue my job I'd be grateful." I tried to yank my hand away but he turned me around and held an arm around my throat. I watched as his eyes flickered black. Fricking demons never leave me alone.
"Too bad. Looks like if I can't have you no one can." His laugh was sinister yet serious. This didn't scare me at all. I just laughed at him. Dean and Sam had discarded their drinks and research to come to help me but I refused them.
"You may wanna step away for a second. This is gonna get nasty." I grinned at them and they stared at me, confused. I laughed again, this time as the demon tightened his grip. I kicked him straight in the balls and removing my brass knuckles fashioned with salt and holy water from the hidden compartment in my heels. I planted several blows to his face and stomach before reciting the exorcist that had been practically imprinted on my brain from a young age. The black smoke flew into the air, disappearing within seconds. It was only when the body hit the floor that my boss revealed himself from the kitchen. His face twisted into several emotions all at once. Disappointment, confusion, despair and finally anger. That anger boiled up and I watched as his face gradually scrunched up and reddened.
"You're SO fired. Get out of my diner!" He screamed at me. I removed the tiny waitress apron from my waist and sighed, placing it on the counter and strolled out the diner, listening to the familiar ringing of the bell on the door. The bell rang again, making it evident that someone had followed me. It was either another demon or the Winchesters. My brass knuckles were still on and I swivelled round, ready to strike. My fist flew forward and Dean's face ducked out the way.
"Wow there princess." He grabbed hold of my wrist.
"We came to see if you were ok. That demon got the jump on you pretty bad there." Sam's voice was calming and gentle. I gulped, nodding in reassurance.
"Yeah. No I'm fine thanks. It's no worries. You Winchesters are here for the werewolf case right?" I questioned them. Dean's face was confused.
"Yeah. Yeah we are. Do we know you?" He pointed at me, furrowing his eyebrows.
"No. Well not directly. I know you mainly through Rufus as he looked after me as a kid but I think every one in the hunting world knows you. You guys are notorious for getting into trouble with monsters." I explained. They rubbed the back of their necks at my last remark and they laughed nervously.
"Hey are you on the case too? I mean if you'd like we can work together on this one. We're one man down as bobby couldn't be here and could use an extra hand." Sam asked, his voice hopeful.
"That's if she's not a stubborn one who 'works alone'." Dean states, using his fingers to make the quotation mark sign. I thought about this for a second. I was one of those girls that Dean described. I find it difficult to trust those around me and Rufus told me to trust no one no matter the circumstances. But something about them was different. They seemed safe.
"Y-yeah...sure why not. I'm Y/N by the way. Please to make your acquaintance." I held my hand out only to be pulled into a hug. Well...ok then.
