Noah Foster- Drown: Part 2 (c)
Scream One Shot
You shivered in the bitterness of the night but knew the house would be warm and that's what you set your mind on, powering forward to get some dry clothes and then probably get out of the party that you didn't really want to be at in the first place.
"Thank you for saving me," he shivered, the towel wrapped around him already soaked and not helping keep him warm as you both hoped it would.
"Any time," you said, trying to smile but your teeth chattered too much for that to happen.
"I... I don't know your name."
You did recognise him from one or two of your classes but had never spoken to him nor learnt his name either. It did feel bad that you couldn't name someone who you shared a class with.
"I'm Y/N."
"Noah."
"Well I wish we could have met under different circumstances; this isn't exactly the way I'd like to meet anyone."
He let out a shaky laugh. "Well you come off pretty well in our introduction, you know, saving my life and all."
Once you were in the house, you had to weave through all the teenagers that gave you weird looks for being soaked and walking through the house, but you didn't care. You had known Brooke long enough to know your way around her house and know she wouldn't be cleaning it up and it would be the least of the maids worries seen as you were sure the house wouldn't stay in such a neat manner. You led Noah up to Brooke's bedroom and went straight over to her chest of drawers where you knew she kept clothing from ex-boyfriends that hopefully would somewhat fit Noah.
You found some clothes and handed them to him.
"Hopefully they fit. She won't want them back, so feel free to keep them or burn them, or whatever you want," you shrugged. "There's a bathroom through there where you can get changed."
Pointing to the en suite, you turned to Brooke's wardrobe and looked for something that you knew Brooke wouldn't care if you wore and something that didn't look too bad on you.
"Thank for everything," he said softly, still wrapped in the damp towel.
"Some people, like Jake, are complete dicks, not everyone is," you stated. "Do you need a lift home?"
"You don't have to do that," he assured you. "You have already done too much."
You begun to dry your hair with your towel. "Well once I'm changed, I'm going home. I don't think I can put up with this party any longer, so I don't mind driving you home. I doubt you want to hang out here."
Noah smiled softly and nodded his head at you.
"If you don't mind."
