Jesse Pinkman- Television (a)
Breaking Bad One Shot
"Check out the flatscreen bro, I got a sweet deal down at Wal-Mart it's sick, yo." Jesse tossed his keys into the small bowl that sat near the doorway. "What are you waiting for, come on in. Don't worry about taking your shoes off or nothing, its not fancy or anything."
"Nice, what is that like twenty, twenty-five inch?" He stared at you blankly.
"I don't know it's not really from Wal-Mart, one of my boys managed to procure it for me. I had to pay him for it though." You knew Jesse wasn't the most law-abiding citizen, but you could only hope the rumours about him weren't true and you knew you could trust your gut about him.
"I brought a few things, just in case I end up spending the night." He swept it from your hands and placed it by the mattress he had laid on the floor. "So, is this sleeping arrangements for two or is there a little pull out bed thing hidden around here?"
"I haven't really been in this place long. I had some trouble with the previous owners, I was supposed to be in here a few weeks ago but they started kicking up some trouble. Well they were my parents and they tried to throw me out, so I just brought the place. Assholes." He ran his fingers around the back of the television and after some fiddling, the room was alit with blue as it struggled to find a signal.
"None of your boys able to get you a bed?" He laughed nervously as he sat on the splayed-out blankets and invited you to join.
"Na, flatscreens are easy to get but beds are a little bit more... big, you know? By the way I don't like, always invite people to my place after a few dates. I don't normally like, rush into things or whatever I just..."
"Don't worry about it, I was happy to come. I like spending time with you, even if it is sat on the floor watching movies or whatever." He lent back against the wall and once the harsh blue had been replaced by actual television you joined him. "So why did they try to kick you out?"
"Just the normal stuff, I guess. They didn't want to leave the house to some deadbeat, they'd rather let it rot than. I know a good, umm, real estate guy though so he managed to get me a good price on it. Anyway, what do you want to watch?"
