"ZACH!" You yell, running down a hill to your boyfriend, Zach Mitchell. After the giro-sphere attack, you, Zach, and Gray had been on the run. Everyone had slowed down to a walk, but Zach just fell down a hill.

"Y/N." He mumbled, wincing in pain as he moved his left ankle. It was bleeding and already swollen.

"That looks bad, Zach." Gray informed him, just causing a groan from Zach.

"You don't say." He growled, gritting his teeth in pain.

"I hate to do this, but we need to move." You say as the roar of a tyrannosaurus was heard in the distance. Zach winced, but nodded in agreement. Slowly, he stood up, leaning most of his weight on you and Gray.

The three of you hobbled as fast as you could to an overhang that went far into a cliff. Almost cave like, but not as enclosed. Zach was covered in a layer of sweat, his breath shaky. "Zach, hang on. I'll find something to make a splint and then we can rest. But you need to be awake for the splint."

Zach groaned, but nodded in agreement. Gray had already gotten a few sticks as straight and small as he could find. They were strong sticks of coarse, not twigs. You ripped apart some of a jacket you had along. It had practically been ripped to shreds in the attack anyway.

You winced as you watched Zach grimace in pain. Each tightening of a piece of fabric sent pain waves through his whole body, he nearly blacked out. "I'm done Zach." You whispered, keeping your voice low so you didn't alert any dinosaurs that could be nearby.

"Good." Zach mumbled through gritted teeth. He laid down on the ground and panted, pain could take a lot out of a person. Gray sat next to him, smiling.

"Just think, when all of this is over, we can go home." Gray said, trying to be positive. Zach opened one eye and nodded.

"Maybe Gray, maybe." He muttered, patting Gray's arm. You laid down next to Zach, holding his hand in yours.

"Just sleep for a while. We'll wake you up if something happens." You say, kissing his cheek. You ran your hands through his hair, noticing how warm his forehead was.

Zach just nodded, already half asleep. These next couple days were going to be bumpy, but you knew you would make it.
