Sylar [Heroes]*

You walked around town, your two year old son waddling beside you. You held his hand to make sure he didn't wonder off, he had always been a curious child. Glasses hung loosely on his face, it was almost impossible to make them any smaller.

One missing thing was his father, Gabriel Gray, recently known as Sylar. Gordy Gray was your sons name. Similar sounding to his father, but not exact.

Gabriel was only a one night stand, a small fling. But that one fling left you pregnant. You had never taken care of a baby before, let alone be a mother to one. Nerves filled your system the instant those three pregnancy tests came up as positive. You knew you'd be raising that baby on your own, no contact from his father at all.

"Sorry.." A man said when he bumped into you. You were so busy in your head, you weren't paying attention. Instinctively, you picked up Gordy and turned around, your heart rate rising. It took a few seconds for you to calm to the fact that the guy was not in fact trying to kill you.

"It's alright, I wasn't paying attention, it's-" You started saying before freezing. The man was Gabriel Gray, Gordy's father. "Are you...Gabriel Gray?"

"Y/N....?" He asked, instantly forgetting everything he had mon his mind. "Um..yeah I'm Gabriel Gray."

"Wow...um..." You say, looking between Gordy and Gabriel. Gabriel's expression changed as he started to put the pieces of the puzzle together.

"Is he...?" Gabriel asked, motioning to Gordy. You closed your eyes and but your lip. Slowly, you nodded, not opening your eyes. "I'm sorry." You hear him say, his voice dropping.

"Well, I love him." You say, opening your eyes just a crack. Gabriel kept staring at Gordy, aw struck.

"What's...um..what's his name?" Gabriel asked, stepping closer to you.

"Gordy Michael Gray." You say, awkwardly standing there. "Do you want to go into the coffee shop for some coffee? We can talk more."

"Yeah...yeah...sure." Gabriel agreed, following you to a coffee shop around the corner. Both of you got coffee and sat down at a booth, Gordy playing with toy cars. He loved those things a lot.

"You don't need to be involved if you don't want to." You say, watching Gordy play. Gabriel smiled, staring into your eyes.

"Now that I know about him I'm not going anywhere." Gabriel said, sitting closer to you. He still was very handsome and now kind. You smiled a little.

"Thank you.." You mumble, facing him. Out of no where, he pulled you into a kiss, a kiss you never wanted to break out of. Now that he was here, you were no longer alone with Gordy.
